I want to choose the pool of maps i play in and not repeat skittergate and hunger in the dark for the nth teen time.
All available missions are included in this mod, including a quiet drink and fortunes of war and all dlc missions.
So you're right, it's still possible. 100% on board with this mod though - would be nice to have a little more control without feeling like you're forfeiting the QP bonus. At the same time I don't want it to be like VT1 where people just skipped certain levels so you never got to see them. I like Rocket League's system where you can favor and disfavor a couple maps, skewing your odds of getting them, but it's never 100% guaranteed.
Btw, I would love a mod like this, where I could select certain maps and avoid long maps.
The mod in its current state does NOT exclude maps from quickplay for the reason you stated (It will probably not be approved)
For now it only changes the algorithm for map selection
I'd advise something like the mod checking if all the players have the mod (and if you put a checkbox in the mods option, that all have the checkbox on "active"), so that it can't affect a player not wanting to use this algorithm.
This mod could easily be extended to exclude certain maps from quickplay. I would need approval from Robin tho as it changes the game experience quite heavily for other players (As people joining your matches do not know that bossmaps are excluded from YOUR quickplay)
I'm so tired of how incredibly annoyingly predictive Quickplay is.
yes I will apply for sanctioning probably next week.
