Thank you i wan't some method of letting my colonists pass on because lets face it... Once a species is immortal death is still inevitable because accidents will happen (and immortal does not mean deathless, it means ageless)

bio robots are subject to the same death wave accidents. they just dont die of old age.

Mod Updated:
Can build cemeteries in dome or out dome.
Works Underground now.
Deaths colony wide including on asteroids will find a cemetery on the planet.
Cemeteries require no maintenance, so you can build them with a commander way out in the boonies.

I know cemetery's main function. What I am curious about is that does it works as a park 'as a secondary function'.

The cemetery lowers the sanity breakdown from when colonists reside in the same building as a former living person. When a colonist dies, they have a negative impact on their fellow residents.

I heard that cemetery is classified as a park. Then does cemetery act as a park? Does colonists worship ancestors in the cemeteries and gain comforts?

super !, anyway you have to start on a new game, on my game save just before the dlc, there is no underground passage on the map, dlc does not work on previous backups, if it's verified it's really a shame !, I'll wait a week or two as long as the mods update, before starting a new game with the new dlc. I just realized that the transport page no longer works with the previous save, saved with new dlc and update. pff !!!

What discord? I'll take a peek, but as I mentioned, my code doesnt interfere with the normal mechanism of colonists getting despawned. Sounds like you have something else, possibly a conflict. I did a quick test and could not replicate this.

The bodies don't delete from the roster, they stay, forever. I waited over 30 Sols. Even 50 Sols later, same bodies still existed invisibly, and stayed in the Roster. The dome had 37 people stuck in it.

I linked the save in Discord for a bug report on another issue.

Thats not my code. What happens when a colonist dies, is their body lays around for a random period of time affecting people in the dome they died in. The games' code states from 1 hour up to one day, all random. Its why you still see the name in the roster. With my mod, I move the body to the cemetery and hide it under the grave, but that does not remove it from the original domes roster, so all the other things associated with death still work. You have to wait a period of time from the last death to expire before the roster self cleans up. You can delete the dome then. I dont interfere with that.

I dunno why, it was just after I started using it, I tried to move domes and the only dome I could not delete was the one that had the graveyard in it. I checked the members of the dome and some moved to the other dome but were still appearing in the old dome's menu. On top of that some members stuck in that dome, were dead. It seems like this mod locks them into existence somehow.

I've removed this mod since the graves keep fake colonists in roster endlessly, causing domes to become permanent.

I seem to have an issue where the graveyard causes a dome to be impossible to salvage. It keeps the dome stuck by having dead/undead people stuck on its roster. I salvaged every single building inside, forced everyone out, shut off life support, water, electricity, waited 30 Sols, and I still can't salvage the building. It claims to have 37 people still in it.

I saw that, but it seemed also appropriate that colonists would make use of it like a park or garden or other walk in facility. maybe that feels like double dipping but I don't see it that way, kind of distinct activities.

It does but not how you think. Without a cemetery the vanilla game has a severe sanity penalty to colonists that live in the same complex as the person who died. Building a cemetery cust that effect by 355, build two cuts it by 70%, and the body is cleaned up from the streets.

Yeah, a death streak can be heartbreaking sometimes but it stabilizes the colony. Fits well with my playing style. I let my colonists die around age 75. A little more control over the percentage might be good for people like son-goku. @son-goku: don't take it to serious :) Mars is spooky at night ;)

@SkiRich, because I miss a cemetary building. Granted, so far I haven't noticed any impact from my people dying (had the message that the last founder died an hour ago).

Also, after activating your mod and loading my game, one of my people immediately died ^^ (tthough it didn' say the cause of death). Before I could even build a cemetery...
