I was never used to the original Rome 2 UI arrangement, as I've only recently played. So it seems visually natural to me for light units having the triangle style.
Is there any chance you can make the flags stay the same size on the upped difficulties? My biggest gripe with Rome 2, smaller flags seem like annoying artificial difficulty to me.
I was never used to the original layout. So to me triangle would be confusing for medium (looking in the battlefield).
Keep in mind that this mod includes unique icons for elephants, chariots and pikemen (originally were mixed with generic sword cavalry and spear infantry). All cavalry have a horse symbol too.
Also the banner shape order is rearranged (triangle is light, circular is medium and square is heavy), as they are ingame smallest to largest banners in size.
Thanks HCP I much appreciate your Community Patch, love the Attila features and tweaks.
Yeh, Olympia005's Banner mod was the first and uses Attila icons, but hasn't been updated in a while I guess and had some visual glitches. I wanted to tweak existing Rome 2 symbols and introduce new designs (also rearranged the unit weight UI more logically) making it like Future TW games and clearer than vanilla Rome 2.
Sounds very interesting, would be happy to help if I can.
I'm attempting to create a mod that inserts Roman Numerals on strategic map army standards just below Legion eagle, horse and naval emblems to make it easier to track a player's various armies/fleets. I'm experienced in modding a number of other games, but new to TW modding. Would you be interested in jumping in on this?
