Now I am working up enough materials to build her in survival.
Magnificent ship. I can't imagine how long it took you to create this work of art.
The horizontal double hangar door landing bays are inspired. I did not believe my largest SV would fit but indeed it did. Like a glove baby.
Well done!
I kept the symmetry with the top-side turret pads, it just so happens that the body gets in the way a little bit. This is a situation where the addition of limited compound-building into Empyrion would be welcomed.
I may correct this in a future blueprint update by moving the turret mounts out a bit, or by modifying the body shape a bit.

31,000 is pretty good
Thank you for all of the amazing feedback and comments.
RCS: General consensus was that more RCS was needed, so I added another six T1 RCS units. I also uploaded screenshots that show hidden pockets of space where you can add more RCS.
Combat Steel Version: I do not currently have plans to convert the base blueprint of the ship to combat steel. I usually build my ships with the standard steel blocks to keep the resource requirements as low as possible. When I use the ships in-game, I usually conquer a base or ship with hardened or combat steel blocks, and then use the resources to upgrade the outer shell of my ship.
Let there be (spot) light: Yes, there are quite a few spot lights on the ship. My goal was to be able to land on a dark planet / moon and be able to illuminate the area around the ship as best as possible. There is a switch on the bridge for turning the spot lights off when you do not need them.
I hope you enjoy using the CS OBERON in your games.

Warum kein Compat Steel?
Aber sonnst wie gesagt schön gemacht.... weiter so aber mit Kampfstahl
On a side note, Kosovo_Joe, if you spawn it in creative you can use the Replaceblocks function to change the whole thing to Combat Steel. (google Empyrion Replaceblocks first article has full instructions)
