Does not work with LWOTC. Won't crash your game, but won't affect proving ground/research.

@ArcaneData If integrated DLC is not checked this is my experience on what happens. After mechanized warfare it is possible to build sparks but it is not possible to build them from enemy mec units until Advent Mecs have been researched.

would be a cool more with the supply raids where you can capture inactive mec units and reprogram them into your own forces

I like this mod, makes it more realistic than being able to create an armada of Sparks, now you actually need to recycle a mec

@Speed demon - It probably won't cause any serious issues to use both together - but you might have two different proving ground projects for making SPARKs from MEC wrecks (one from each mod).

Vanilla SPARKs are disgustingly expensive to make and yes, its insane that MEC autopsy does nothing for SPARKs.
This mod solves so many issues...

@ArcaneData Good day, I found an alternative solution to the problem with the long construction of "Sparks". It adds additional engineers to the workshop. But it also doesn't work on simple Xcom2. =(.
I have no luck =)

@anybis - Looks like you're correct, the non-WOTC version doesn't seem to work. I'm not sure what the problem is - I don't mod the old XCOM anymore - so I don't think I can fix it. I'm sorry if I wasted your time. I hope you can find the solution some other way!

I even went on a mission again where they give me a spark.

@ArcaneData I've even disabled all other mods to check if there is a conflict. But still, the construction of the spark takes 5-14 days.

@ArcaneData Unfortunately not working. In the tab "Xcom2" no fashion. If you go to the tab "War of the chosen" mod there is, and if it is there to include it will appear in the tab "Xcom2". But in the game "Xcom2" mod does not work.

@anybis - No problem. It should work even without the expansion, even if it does show a warning about it. Just activate the mod anyway and it should work regardless.

The only problem is that the mod for "War of the gods". I'm playing Xcom 2.
My fault didn't tell you my version of forgive me.
Can I do it myself so you don't get in trouble ?

If I can't do it myself, You can transfer the mod to the "Xcom 2" version.
I hope the transfer of the mod to another version is not too difficult ?

@ArcaneData Thanks so much. That's very nice of you. I'm only interested in reducing the time it takes to make a spark. I would like to reduce production time to 1 day. Play in long var, and there in 1 day on several missions. And wait 5-14 days built spark is a very long time.

@anybis - You'll need to install the XCOM 2 WotC Modding Tools. They can be found in the Tools section of your Steam library. Notepad++ is also handy for navigating the script files. Making a mod can be a difficult process, so you should find a proper tutorial on the internet.

If the only thing you want to change is the SPARK's production time, I could make the mod and upload it for you, and save you the trouble of installing the programs and learning the whole process yourself. You'd just need to say how much you want the production time reduced by, and I could get it done within a few days.

@anybis - Unfortunately, that change can't be made by editing an ini file. You'll need to create a mod and change the 'BuildSpark' tech template itself, which is a fairly lengthy process. If your interested in doing so, I suggest finding a modding tutorial online. Good luck.

@Pluvia - I've taken a look at the MOF files, and it looks like it doesn't modify the initial SPARK proving ground project, which is the only part that my own mod does actually affect. So at first glance I would say it will work without significant issue but I can't guarantee it. At the very least, you're likely to get some MOF tech appearing before you can actually build the SPARK itself.

@Korbis - I've been wondering what to do with the Sectopod autopsy for ages, and unlocking the blaster launcher is a good idea. I've made a note of this, thanks.

I love that you're back to making these! I'm sure you've gotten this request before, but one thing I'd love to see in a future autopsy mod is a way to get the blaster launcher. I use the Tier 3 Grenade Launcher mod, but you need a Blaster Launcher to build the upgrade, and there's no way to get it in-game outside of luck.

Perhaps as a Sectopod autopsy?

I like the mod, but this is already done by RealityMachina's Metal Over Flesh mod, which also lets you upgrade your SPARKs to have ridiculous perks. Like the effort, but unless there's an alternative, it's gonna be a pass from me.

Also, could you add compatability of the Viper/Purifier autopsies to the Tier 3 grenades mod?

Although outside the scope of this mod, it could be an interesting basis for a mod that let you reconstruct MECs and give them to the resistance (since they're c-list SPARKs) and they could apear along side resistance warriors on mission. Not unlike a very similar mechanic in LW2 (although I don't remember if it's vanilla LW2 or with other mods).
