Best version of Defense I have played. The night makes the map feel less like a shooting galllery due to range of vision and it's nice having more objects included on the ground level to stand on to fight. The server always fills up with this map. +1

Great map, love the forge machinery near the trader. Can I make a suggestion, in the day version there is a cage that you can jump down onto to reduce falling damage. What I recon would be cool is to put a thorn bush, or the like, here that does extra damage. This will keep people familar with the other version on their toes!

Really ? I'm pretty sure i was earning XP while playing it. This map is a modified version of KF-Defence_Thyself_Day_Fin3 and i didn't made any modification on the kismet, so that's weird.
I'll check it anyways and i will remove any useless kismet element. I will update the map soon.

Can you remove the Actor Factory in kismet interface? This kismet disable the rank system.

Great version. I can tolerate this version and I love the atmosphere. Well done :)

Thanks for the reply, it finally worked while putting the map file (in the folder my games...) in brewed pc maps folder.

It's weird, for me it's working like any other custom map.
When you say it's working with other maps, you're talking about custom maps, right ? Not officials ?
Make sure you entered the right workshop id in the config file, or your server cannot download it. Also make sure you enabled workshop maps downloads for your server.

It's also normal that you don't find the map under "brewed pc/maps", custom maps are downloaded in the "cache" folder, within a subfolder that has for name the workshop id for each respective map.

I don't have direct link for the map btw, i only posted it here, but you can easily copy the map file from your kf2 client cache folder :
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Documents\my games\KillingFloor2\KFGame\Cache

Hello again, it seems still not working. I tried with some other maps it work pretty well. Im using admin panel to change map and it says 'the map does not exist, switching to biotics labs". Also, there is no map called KF-Defence_Thyself_Deluxe_Night in the brewed pc/maps folder. But i can still play on this map on solo. Any advice ?

Map name is KF-Defence_Thyself_Deluxe_Night
Sometime you have to wait a bit before your server update its workshop content. It may also happen that the server detect Steam as offline, just restart your Steam client in that case.

True, true. I just normally don't think of cars when I think of a medieval style map, but to each their own.

You think ? I was thinking it was giving a nice touch, espiecially with the headlights.
In my head, it was the cars that the survivors used to come here, they stopped at this place to shelter for the night.
