You craft it in the forge, it has a similar recipe to the ice shield.

It's a fine gif, but the coolest part of the flame shield is when you light melee enemies on fire with it :P.

Haha, this was mainly just a quick test (and because someone wanted a flame shield in game). I'm definitely hoping for more interesting mods in the future!
