But like Astolfo said this if DISC-FF would like to host this map or not.
DISC-FF would host this
think ill pass, way too complicated. cool map though, wish tf2 had some feature where you could just choose whatever you wanted xddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd
If you ain't got anything good to say then go take your potty mouth back to Fortnite where it belongs.
Also, if you do plan to make more Slender maps, I would recommend looking at mapping guides for Slender Fortress, if you haven't already.
I think this guide may work: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=501709941
Until then, best of luck to you. :3
The map is nicely detailed, I also like how the doors open and close and how the escape works, where you must find the correct exit, there's 4 possible exits, but there's only 1 real exit, and it changes every round.
All in all, the map is good for a first Slender map, especially the mechanics. The flaws should be easy to fix, and I would recommend making the map darker, so the flashlight would have some purpose in the map.
It would be cool to see more Slender Fortress maps from you, Shelby, as there's not many Slender Fortress maps out there.
...But I still hate Baldi's Basics regardless. It's very cringey.
For one, there are some areas where the Nav Mesh just completely breaks. Like when a boss is chasing me down that one long hallway, it then switches directions and runs away. I can just return to that area and be practically safe when being chased. I even made a new Nav Mesh and the problem persists.
Two, there's annoying sounds that play, it's aggravating and/or confusing when you constantly hear whistling. And during the escape period, when you pick the wrong exit, there's a chance that a loud sound will start playing. It's honestly unnecessary, and snd_restart doesn't work on the whistling well.
And three, the map starts with sl_. Slender Fortress maps must start with slender_, and if they dont, then sf2_slendermapsonly must be set to 0. If not set to 0, then Slender Fortress won't load.
