First, i apologise for the delay to reply, only just noticed your comment. Second, placement can be a bit awkward at times as the whole "build your own turret" system is still a WIP and there are still some bugs when using non-coaxial weapons with coaxial designs, but a way around that is to place the turret on the turret block before you choose the design, otherwise it wont allow you to place a non-coaxial weapon with a coaxial design.

have a little question, how coaxial weapons work? because i cant put weapons there
