It seems like it's a tiny bit too loud relative to the rest of the background music in the game (I'd guess maybe 10% louder) but it's barely noticeable and I'm just nitpicky.

doesn't seem to work for me, i turn it on but still get the regular music for blue rifts

You shouldn't have to do anything other than hit subscribe and then get the remix from the Time Rift Roulette (and enable it, of course)
