Understood, as much as it hurts to see this mod abandoned like this, it still gets the job done for most 90% of modded weapons, my guess is because of how the jumprifle is as a random drop with varying damage profiles, which could explain why the reinforcer is unable to effect it, no matter, hope you have a good day Scarab, perhaps you've found a game more worth your time as a modder or just as a player as a whole.

Sorry people, i stopped playing or modding this game looong time ago.
You are free to mod and fix this mod yourself, as well as i build it using other people works.
Check original authors mods as maybe those ware updated.

just now noticed that the centen jumprifle from the Elithian Races mod cannot be upgraded, it's a total resource dump with zero changes to the weapon's stats

Does anyone know why some of the unique legendary weapons don't get upgraded? The exmachina, adaptable crossbow, and evil eye all are not being upgraded. Their reinforce level increases and the material is consumed but no stat changes.

P.S. Because i have to... don't take DNA re-write vaccine from Gates "expert without doctor license" - WE don't have a backup and its for all future generations...one major error and you have extinction class event. I will look into updating this mod to work properly with FU. Since you said that you abandoned SB I assume that i have permission to do it. If you will be back to SB modding I will remove my mod.

Dunno, osrry but i stopped modding or playing this game, i hanged on rebuilding version of Gardenbot - i was rebuilding mining bot scripts heavily and took a loong brake.
Check if it works, if it does then fine. It should not break your game, just make save/backup before you start putting your weapons in...or knowing starbound just put some of your redundant ones and test. Regards and have fun!

For what i remember and its in description (I admit not precise) ...it was a conflict of two mods, maybe mod where you can cut weapons in 3 elements like barrel, stock and trigger and rebeuild them into customs?...or something else. I had a lot of mods and Weapon Reinforcer did not work - i fixed it.
Its safer to use mine... or does it produce any errors for you in 1.4.3?

It was a long time ago...but as i remember there was some important script error i fixed resulting in mod not working or creating broken weapons.
Maybe original mod was updated since, always a posibility...

Sorry, but no. It's not my mod, and i fight with this urge to fix games with mods and now fix mods that fix games. It eat up few years of my life and i think i need to move on.
For what i remember it only worked for weapons that use basic game scripts, so those Chakrams must use some special code or something.

I tried it at few weapons and worked for all. I did hoewer stopped using it as costs are high, and it did glitched a little when used in weapon bench, or how it was called (mod where you can cut weapons to 3 parts and mix them around for own hybrids. For instance, if you would reinforce weapon few levels with this mod, and then cut it into pieces with the other one, parts used in hybrid would be rocognized as higer level resulting in weapon of higer level than supposed as long as ratio of higer leveled parts was 2/1, but loose their "reinforce" status... but there was a glitch resulting in such weapon breaking in game if reinforced again as i remember.
Either way, i'm not original creator, and i don't have time fixing another game and another mod, i have half-baked garden bot 2 heavy upgrade to finish with a lot of upgrades and code fixing (sic!).

Just gave this version of weapon reinforcer a try. Looks like its working well on normal weapons, but doesn't work for FU weapons?
