Question - for the non-battle information, where is that displayed in game? I'm wondering whether this mod conflicts with mods that add Curio Hints, for example?
Secondly, do you know what does have perfect information?
An extremely easy game called Chess.
ALSO WHEE steam comment limits of 1000 characters. fun stuff.
oh, and as a final note, your comment also assumes the player has a *Perfect memory*. if a player can't remember things, then they would keep making the exact same mistakes over and over again. maybe its a streamer distracted with their viewers, or maybe someone has some slight color blindness and can't tell the diffrence between the iron and wood chests. theres a decent number of reasons one might possibly be unable to remember or tell what their supposed to do. oh, and good luck finding out what some specific traits do that you LITERALLY CAN'T KNOW UNLESS YOU LOOK IT UP. mine as well call that entire series of traits "?????" and give it no description, for someone trying to genuinly 'learn' the game, those things are a giant fuck you to the player.
if a player wants a game to be harder, and is worried this mod can make things easier, there are hard / difficulty mods one can download. infact, this mod was made specificlly with no specific information being given on anything that a hard mod might actually touch, and can be combined with (i think) any difficulty mod out there, to make a challengeing, AND fair game.
if that was not the case, the player would already 'know' these things anyway. moreover, thinking that that exact situation, without deviance, is the expected 'norm' is silly. of corse the player will by some form or another, learn things. and also, with such a permenant defeat, combined with such a long grueling campaign, to have the audacity to hide these things from you, is fucking trash gameplay design. if a player wants a game to be challengeing, it can be without it also being bullshit.
I have confirmed that it´s caused by this mod, ´cause this problem didn´t occurre after mod was disabled. Hope this helps

Also a problem with Stack of books curio where reward shows after it is cleansed instead otherwise
thats also why i released the mod before i just kinda forgot about it, because its fantastic. and to many modders drop and never release projects, i'd also be open to recieveing help. (or bribes).
@aibolitko this mod, as far as im aware, should be incapable of causing crashes. its a mere text mod. it shouldn't even conflict with other mods. maybe.. idk, is there any error message? or are you sure its THIS mod that causes it? can anyone else reproduce this?
this may be a good game if you know everything, but when you know nothing, its kind of not even worth trying to win. you need either a fantastic memory, or some serious pencil, paper, and trial and error.
wikis are not immersive, or a fun way to play a game. info you need to not literally have your save file deleted, should not be hidden. like "suprise! your save file is gone!" wow so immersive. bad player choice? fine. the game just going suprise you lose? not fun.
@Mean Man this is only a text mod, there no actual codeing done, so that can't be done, because i would need something to detect if the max or min was hit. moreover, you can totally just look at your weapons min or max number.
What I'd like to see is a "MAX!" or "MIN!" text appearing if the said character dealt an attack that dealt the max or lowest possible damage, not including critical hits of course.
@syvils_lol the chances / useful info is when you press H (the help button) in a dungeon. so, it definatly can't conflict. however, while i don't know what mods ur talkin about, its possible the information shown with the clarity mod simply won't all be completly true anymore. that said, the default game tells you astoundingly little about about your enemies so, slightly incorrect info would be better then nothing yeah?
and if any other mod dev made a game changeing mod for enemies, they possibly made enemies keep their general theme. in any case, this mod doesn't change anything specific about the game (except curios images) so, it's mostly only a text mod. i would imagine that if another mod dev changed say, an ability name, then that ability would not have colors from this mod and you'd atleast know "definatly not normal"
I think there is a forgotten :

Medicinal Herbs on Iron Maiden
