I think the point of wards comsuming so much mana is to encourage you to buff up you Restoration skill. I don't mind it, but I can understand why other's would.

Thanks for this. Wards are now a viable option and I find myself using them all the time now. I even go toe to toe with warriors with my cloth mage and his wards -- well for one or two hits anyway :-).

I can actully use my wards as a spellsword, finally.

I thing better should be mod, that makes ward cost magicka only when enemy spell hit it. for example - firebolt hit ward. ward absorb this 35 damage, but to regenerate ward also "eat" 35 points of magicka of the caster... but this one is also good...

Yes, but those mods make the game too unbalanced in my opinion, that's why I made this one.

I remember the Shearpoint dragon priest. Faendal, the Spectral assassin, and shadowmere pushed him against a corner. Good times.

when i fought the dragon priest on sheerpoint my shadowmere pushed him off the mountain

It's pretty funny too, because npcs seems to be able to keep wards up for insanely long periods of time without any penalties...
That one dragonpriest on sheerpoint makes attempting to kill him a living hell because of his damn staff and his ward... That and it makes little sense for a mob to dodge SO DAMN MUCH! *shoots arrow and he strafes 50% of the time*
