Anyone know of a way to build this from projector? I figure there might be a trick I don't know.
Firestorm🗿 2 Mar, 2020 @ 9:47am
@Quickshadow10m yeah man its a bit late.
Aether 1 Mar, 2020 @ 11:36am
That comment is like two years old, I think you are late.
Quickshadow10m 29 Feb, 2020 @ 10:53am
yah stop, Im reporting @Darkrubberneck

I am a female with a deep voice... So I guess it is okay that my balls haven't dropped. Or maybe I dropped them somewhere and stomped on them, not sure?? :)
Derp & Junk 26 Sep, 2018 @ 4:33pm
Haven't even finished the video yet and I have to say his voice is fine, he's like a some what older Butters from South Park. Really people? Voice gripes? Oh and looking forward to the book!
Jean Atrosa 15 Sep, 2018 @ 7:45pm
it is a very good book. i enjoyed it a lot.
Firestorm🗿 29 Aug, 2018 @ 12:20pm
so did i. you finished it yet? I have read it twice now.
JalapenoCowboy 20 Aug, 2018 @ 8:45pm
i bought the book

MOXzy 18 Jul, 2018 @ 12:26pm
@DarkRubberNeck dude your balls need to drop, fucking soon
Titus 15 Jul, 2018 @ 8:06am
The way this guy speaks in the video is annoying.
DarkRubberNeck 29 Jun, 2018 @ 8:18am
I love destroying things. I kinda feel bad about doing it to peoples awesome works, but half the fun about a showcase is always blowing it up at the end XD
parkasever  [author] 28 Jun, 2018 @ 5:46pm
@DarkRubberNeck: I'll add your showcase up there if you don't mind. It will help people get a sense of what this thing can and cannot do. Thank you for destroying my mobile base :D
DarkRubberNeck 28 Jun, 2018 @ 9:21am
Hey I love rolling rover bases like this so I made a showcase video for it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AzRMbQoJG9w
Firestorm🗿 28 Jun, 2018 @ 6:11am
I wish that one day somone makes a proper caterpillar tracks mod. I mean like a wheel and suspension. It would fit this build soo well.
Jean Atrosa 27 Jun, 2018 @ 6:46pm
@parkasever you should consider adding a sprew to the middle to make this projectable in survival.
Jean Atrosa 27 Jun, 2018 @ 6:44pm
I've had to step away from the game due to my computer not being able to handle it anymore, but i would love to try this new design out next time i can get a new pc. love the way you did the wheels, DAS could be really useful to sync them up across grids.
parkasever  [author] 27 Jun, 2018 @ 5:49pm
As my man Firestorm says: feel free to re-purpose this blueprint to suit your needs. It's an engineering game :D I did my best to make this a problem-free vehicle, but if you find something that can be done better - go for it! That is the point of this game imo.
Firestorm🗿 27 Jun, 2018 @ 1:44pm
They could be retrofitted!
thif47 27 Jun, 2018 @ 8:56am
why arent the scouts drones?
NachoSplit 24 Jun, 2018 @ 2:15pm
For grids that make use of large subgrids should have a seperate blueprint for the butt half. !Boom! Survival Ready
tyriael_soban 24 Jun, 2018 @ 12:53pm
@Chaz.fml
Projectors dont work through rotors, the ass end is considered a subgrid and wont be projected.
(IE this build is not 'survival' ready)
Chazn't 24 Jun, 2018 @ 11:17am
for some reason when i try to build this on a projector, only the front half shows up. what am i doing wrong?
Firestorm🗿 24 Jun, 2018 @ 4:57am
Oh. Yes. This looks like something the feral martians would use!
McTec Ind. 24 Jun, 2018 @ 3:17am
nice, effective and compact build...the kind of thing space faring companies(mining) would probably use to examine the geological makeup of a planets surface. looks good.^^
BLU MIMI Sentry 23 Jun, 2018 @ 10:37pm
You could make there be a merge block to couple the back end so you can projector build it
dustfang61 23 Jun, 2018 @ 8:27pm
hay you should get your book on Audible for us people who are at work most the time
Terramir 23 Jun, 2018 @ 7:33pm
cool!
parkasever  [author] 23 Jun, 2018 @ 6:45pm
@Terramir - That is exactly right. Since the craft is so light, ion thrusters do provide thrust in the atmosphere. Not enough for vertical thrust, but enough to keep it from "drifting" away. Original "Speck" ultralight that I use in survival has one atmo for vertical and ions for forward thrust actually.
Terramir 23 Jun, 2018 @ 6:40pm
nice docking mechanism BTW.
Terramir 23 Jun, 2018 @ 6:39pm
so do they still provide enough power in atmosphere because of how light the craft is?
parkasever  [author] 23 Jun, 2018 @ 4:17pm
@Terramir - cheaper, smaller and less energy. Feel free to change it, but then it's not ultra light scout.
Terramir 23 Jun, 2018 @ 2:52pm
why ions on the scouts?
parkasever  [author] 23 Jun, 2018 @ 1:03am
@Korvatus Klok - no trick, supregrinding or anything. Although I noticed that you can add more armor around them when you set wheel height to maximum. To improve steering, I set one pair of wheels to "reverse steering". I hope this helps.
Korvatus Klok 23 Jun, 2018 @ 12:21am
How did you do the wheels?
JCapt 22 Jun, 2018 @ 1:04pm
Also, I love the inverted wheels!
JCapt 22 Jun, 2018 @ 1:03pm
That looks cool!
J4R 22 Jun, 2018 @ 10:27am
That's an awesome idea! Well done!
