The recipe used, is the recipe for a light sensor. Hence the RAM.
See the following quote of comment of the creator (SanAndreasP) of 2018-06-22 16:06:
The light sensor recipe is not mine , blame Chucklefish for that one. I know using RAM in a light sensor is weird to say the least. I only used a similar recipe for the solar panels, as they have the same functionality.
