I’m just starting a VC playthrough now and rediscovered this mod. This is excellent work, pro level design, this unit looks good enough to be in the vanilla game. Work like this makes lazy reskins by CA like the Syreens all the more frustrating.

Not explicity Lore Freiendly, but not lore-breaking either I'd say. Gotta admit they look great too. I'll give them a go in the campaign I think :-)

It was a funny mistake actually. I was supposed to import the banshee model (including the glow) and apply it to this new unit so that any edits to the textures wouldnt affect the vanilla banshee's appearance, but somewhere I messed up and only base textures came through. I ended up liking the end result since it conveniently looked a lot closer to the unit I was imagining so I stuck with it.

tl;dr: I only imported the bansee rigid model + diffuse.dds files. I ignored the rest, including the material files which I assume is what gives the ethereal effect glow.

That's easy since there are a lot of assets to work with now. Problem is, finding a suitable voice line to compliment the unit. Would feel weird to have say, Sisters of Sigmar speaking about the Lady or Khaine.

Nice idea. Will you maybe add some female units to human factions too?

Sigvald the magnificent supposedly surrounds himself with beautiful women, perhaps that could inspire a troop of women as a female chaos unit? Some dark elf assets combed with Bretonian heads might maybe work for that.

Some tough Norsca women could be cool too, though I guess the assets for that might not be in the game since they'd have to be bigger.

Imperial women could be nice to see though, maybe as a new lord too.
