Therefore, you need to activate the developper console first. You can rebind the key to open it: ...Steam\Steamapps\Common\Killingfloor2\Engine\Config and in this folder there is a file called BaseInput.ini => open it and:
CTRL + F and search for 'ConsoleKey' and you can put F10 by example. Now you have ConsoleKey=F10 in this file. Save and start you game: then open the developper console (in game) with F10 and type "open KF-BurningParis?game=Machines.KFGameInfo_Machines?Difficulty=3"

it's pretty basic. Actually, it was also a test to see if i will implement full EDARS waves in my endless mode.
it's unbalanced for the wave1 as you said as i didn't changes EDARS stats.
Not sure what to do but i may change things.
Wave 1 is the hardest wave since you don't have decent weapons.
Waves beyond that are just tedious (slightly less so because you have better weapons).
Quite easy even on HoE since you can kite and keep them at a distance.
No trappers, although I would say this is a good thing.
The increase in ammo and item spawns is good. Are you planning to continue work on this mod or is it done?
