seems somewhat broken tbh, it breaks the stone and clay quarries in that they now get depleted like any other ore vein, when vanilla behaviours is that they are infinite. additionally, I found that there would be a very long ~15s delay when mining before recovering any resources at all but it would eventually start giving items.

I suppose I should clarify for those who might be interested in trying it: It does in fact work, but the part about it adjusting the mining time to be less ridiculous at higher levels is actually a complete lie; You have to mine the node as long as it takes to mine a node normally, plus another six strikes for each additional (2) ore.

I don't suppose there's any way to fix the nodes if the extended mining time is too frustrating. :T Disabling the mod just leaves me with nodes that give the default 3 ore but still takes 16-ish strikes to complete

DO NOT USE THIS MOD WITH HEARTHFIRE. This will deplete your stone/clay mines forcing you to find a source elsewhere which is a complete hassle. A fix would be super.

i like this mod but i did notice 1 problem. No more gems drop like diamonds for flawless rubies. stuff like that. other the that its not bad. ty for the hard work. but if you can fix the gem drops it would be aprieciated.

I haven't been able to get this mod to work in a while. Regardless of how I try to mine I will still get only 3 ore per rock even though I have level 100 smithing.

last time i ahd this mod the clay and stone did work at all i would get ten stones or clay and that sit i would have to go and find some somewhere else.there is another mod on here i think its call MMO smithing i get 50 ores in one vien its nice

Donald. I tried several things and found the same to be true. Like you found, there seems to be nothing "new" about the stone quarries compared to the regualr mines, but they don't produce. I think what we're seeing is NPC association to the node, because with "follower relaxing" mods, NPCs will still mine at the "used up" quarry. After uninstalling, I found that the still good node behind the wood mill was ( 03000AE0 ), but the "used up" mine was something different. It's like your mod stripped the"layer" off that the player used to interact with it. It HAS to be something to do with the fact that Hearthfire makes these nodes "never ending". Very frustrating.

I'm still unsure how to fix the Hearthfire issue... the Construction Kit crashes when I try to open Hearthfire (Script Extender?), and the DLC doesn't seem to contain any new mining scripts that I can find.

This is a really great mod that I've used for about half a year now, I think. At some point, however, the mining speed dropped to half. Rather than getting an ore chunk every 3 swings of the pick, I get one every 6 swings, meaning to mine an ore deposit takes 18 (6*3) swings as opposed to 9 (3*3). This is only when mining normally - equipping a pick and hitting the node grants ore every 3 swings.

Well, the entire reason I started playing Skyrim again, to play with Hearthfire and build a house, has now been made into a HUGE pain in the rear. Either I start over and take ALL that time to buy property, or I have to HIKE to a location I've not used up and haul back the EXACT same stone that is next to me. ~ Please make this compatible with Hearthfire...

Exactly as people have stated, do not use this with Hearthfire nodes or it will use them up ... SON OF A %$#^$!

It should work with mythril if mythril doesn't rely on the same script.

I've experienced a major bug with this mod. Upon installing "Mining Extended v.3 - Final" and starting a new game, I was no longer able to craft leather at a tanningrack.

Have you tested on stone-mining in Hearthfire? Cause I can't seem to mine more than 10 ores before it depletes.. And now I'm stuck in the middle of building my house..:-(

I guess it's the messages... but even when i mine slowly it says 7 max. and it only works on iron ore; other ores are 2 2 2 i thought

Are you counting that from your inventory or by the messages that pop up? The 'added to inventory' message skips one... so it'll say you get 3 + 3 + 1, but it's really 3 + 3 + 3 + 1.

What's the max amount of ores you get from a vein? I now get about 3 ores / hit (per 3 hits), while smithing is 100. Iron veins in Embershard Mine (Riverwood). Max ores / vein = 7. Is that ok or does it not work properly? (I had mod installed after i got smithing 100)

Hey there. I think this is a great mod idea. I wish something like this was integrated in the game, getting more ore, faster mining, whatever. I have noticed that I can't mind Corundum Ore. I can mine iron fine, but not corunudum. Doesn't even start. I don't have any other mining mods, or mods that alter mining at all, or ore, so I dunno. I'm going to remove the mod, save in a house, and then reinitialize the mod, and see if I can mine corundum.

just mine by hitting the ore with your pickaxe repeatedly, you should get ore 3x at a time and it doesnt take too long.

I don't think I'm getting the full description of this mod. What's this about different pickaxes? You mentioned that you changed the speed of the mining. I don't think it's working because it takes me quite awhile to mine a single vein. Is there something I am missing?

There's an optional script-only version on Nexus that doesn't use .bsa/.esp, and thereby doesn't contain any additional recipes or game changes. There were a lot of reports of the mod not working when it uses the .bsa, so the standalone script is basically guaranteed to work. The Creation Kit only uploads .bsa/.esp to Steam, so that's the only drawback vs Nexus.
