The mod has been incorporated to a larger Clinamen project: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1522830274

@Afro_GF Prussia didn't declare war on France. France did on Prussia, with the diplomatic insult casus belli. The casus belli for the war with Denmark was an inheritance crisis over Schleswig-Holstein, not simulated by the EU.

BTW both examples show that even 50 years after the EU timeframe there were no imperialism and nationalism casus belli and to achieve their aims countries had to resort to other justifications.

prussia wasn't an empire when they fought with denmark or france so i think it needs a change

Ok, will be waiting for it, thanks!

Alright, I had a look and actually it needs a separate submod. Which I will make in spare time.

Thank you!

@aahron: Yes, maybe I will even add a compatibile version but I need some time. Will try to do it over the weekend.
aahron 15 Jun, 2018 @ 1:09pm
Markot, could you please advise on how to do it? Would absolutely love to have the mod but only play ET, I think this is also true for quite a lot of people. Great job otherwise!
Markot  [author] 15 Jun, 2018 @ 6:49am
@Mayo: I will think about it in the next update. I have to recreate the problem first, usually I do not have many rebels but it may be because my play style.

@aahron: Some defines are conflicting and there is also incompatibility due to longer tech list in the ET. It could be rather easily made compatible with a bit of digging in files.
aahron 15 Jun, 2018 @ 4:07am
Is this compatible with the ET?

Ah yes, it would make sense for them to be local elites. In regards to it messing with seperatism. Perhaps you could make seperatism tick down slower? Or increase the amount of seperatism?
Markot  [author] 14 Jun, 2018 @ 1:36am
@Mayo This would mess with the concept of separatism, as separatism starts hight and then drops to insignifficant levels. Having reduced unrest when separatism is high would mean that you won't have separatists rebels at all. These separatists, btw, are more likely local elites than peasants. I will think about it when testing the mod, thank's for the feedback!

Small proposal. Perhaps a "recently conquered" and "recent uprising" unrest modifier to newly annexed/subdued provinces? Im not sure its entierly realistic for 3 years after a a war/rebellion, peasents managed to well equip them selves and are willing to throw them selves at the enemy so soon.

thanks for the quick and helpful reply

thanks

@Sycoperson: Generally speaking, yes.

The conficting files are:

1) common\technologies\adm.txt and dip.txt in Clinamen - you may just remove them from the mod (new buildings and ideas in The Idea Variation);

2) common\state_edicts\encourage_development.txt - also to be removed from Clinamen;

3) burghers, nobility and clergy estate files - you have to chose what estate version you prefer and delete the version from the other mod.

is this compatible with Idea Variation?

Very interesting mod. I think it works well along with common universalis.
