It is necessary for magazines to be marked as read, that is, a green mark must be removed, thereby indicating that this magazine has been read. For anyone who is currently using this mod and it looks like it doesn't work: As of 7/27/22, it looks like your character must have either the 'fast reader' or 'slow reader' traits for the mod to work properly, assuming you don't have another mod that overwrites this one. Got confused when it looked like it wasn't working suddenly but it's because my new character didn't have either of those traits.

12/31/2020 Mod works build 41. same as "The Horror", fast reader and speed reading in traits makes reading instant for all books/mags. However, you can also instantly read through a skill book that's above your current level and you will loose the ability to read it again. so just be careful what you read for the skill xp buffs.

The mod works for me in the Build 41. Pick both Fast Reader and Speed Reading traits and you read books instantly. No wait times.
