this a good mod, he looks fantastic, really he does .. type sv_consisteny 0 in the console ... an it should work for ya ... this mods for special inf is by far a damnn good one ... if you into GB this one will defos make you laff when he pops his shiny green head up from behind a bin ... lol the GB theme come to mind eveytime i see him ...... who we guna call .......... dominos. ^_^

Why the consistency error?
- L4D2 is very specific on what it will allow on certain characters.
With Slimer, it's not actually the glowing that breaks consistency; it's the model's texture setup. Instead of having one file for the full texture and one for bumpmaps, Slimer's model has separate textures for its body, mouth, and dripping slime.
There's absolutely no way to fix this, short of asking the makers of Ghostbuster: the Video Game to completely remake its character model.. but since they went out of business in 2013...

How do I use this character in L4D2?
- As apparently people have trouble reading Workshop descriptions and using Google, I'll tell you:
1. Ingame, open the console with "~" and type "sv_consistency 0"
2. In console, type "map " (with the space!) and a list of map names will appear.
3. choose the map you want to play and hit enter.
All done.

With this method you cannot choose your character, server options, etc.; But it's the only option Valve left us, short of finding a server or starting your own server with "sv_consistency" set to zero.

I still get a consistency error after I've disabled the mod!
- Disable the mod and restart your game. Fixed.

L4D2 will ALWAYS leave bits of deactivated mods running until you restart your game.
ALWAYS do a full restart and then allow your Mods menu to fully load after activating/deactivating any mods.

No matter how many times I quit and play again I cant play a level with this mod, it keeps complaining of a inconsistency with the boomer.mdl.
