I managed to get the files from the mod quite simply : I subscribed, downloaded the mod, opened the game, went into the workshop section, selected the mod and clicked "open directory", then opened the .bin with 7z, extracted the files and got them all. :D
I uploaded them on my website if you don't want to do this by yourself. :)

2) Make a backup save somewhere of the remaining texture files.
3) Check your game files via Steam to download the missing vanilla snow files.
4) Once this done, copy/paste the textures files of this mod you saved into the Textures folder, and overwrite everything asked.
You should be good to go.
HD uses a new system for the terrains. It is possible to convert them, but it's really time consuming as you have to cut each terrain png in 100 pieces (10x10 tiles) and rotate/stretch it so it exactly fits one tile. These images have to be converted from 32bit pngs to 8bit bmps (so they would loose a lot of their color and quality). Now you can replace them...
I think you wouldn't like them that much after all this...
Thanks a lot, the game looks much prettier now. ^-^
I have just one question... since I had that problem with mods, I installed your pack before but then it stopped working somehow and I just managed to install it again now, weeks later, so I'm wondering if you purposefully skipped the "really-shallow-water" (the one with plants which you can cross), or is it a problem with the files I managed to download?
Bref, respect !
Weird. Its shown down the first site of the workshop and it opens as it should...
Glad I could help.
I can't see your mod: Ozhara's Mine Upgrade :(. Thanks
I've started to work on new textures and make the snow better btw.
There are two mods out there that modify the mines:
'Trees, cliffs and mines replacer v2' by Drognan:

and my own 'Ozhara's Mine Upgrade'

It would be really cool to be able to modify / improve resources.
Nice work :)
Good work!
The wtaer is perhaps a little light for my taste (the shallow is fine but wtaer deep needs to be a little dakrer)
Like the water still though
your mod is awsome! You have the best water textures! Maybe you can improve the fields, cliffs and mines too?
Like this for example:
