Since wooley2000 has stated their disinterest in continuing this mod, I have decided to adopt it. Unless I managed to mess something up, it should be an improvement.

but what it amounts to is the vanilla 00_species_archetypes.txt changed the definitions in the most recent patch. Copy + pasting the updates into your modded 00_species_archetypes.txt fixes the pop construction problem.

I doesn't work anymore, it stops robot pop from growing and you cannot select which robot model to assemble. I suppose devs changed that mechanism a bit. ALSO, the population growth name tag was replaced by codes.

It seems that you have a few techs defined twice, once as repeatable and once not. Since they have the same name, one will overwrite the other. I think you meant to define the techs with a different name so they happen once earlier.

oh so there is an increased limit in this one? i didn't know, on the robots it feels like it caps early and the repeatable becomes a bait after.

@greenche I could remove the increased limit so you could use this with the other mod together. This mod would only have the tech for the added points.

couldn't you just incorporate something like what's done here? it seems he's increased the limit without adding extra points, or granting those points at the beginning, and it's specifically designed to be combined with mods like this one that only add points but don't increase the limit.

@hsenna yes and cant increase the picks with a tech, but increases the amount at the empire editor so i suggest getting a trait mod to have more traits to choose

@greenche i cant, paradox hard coded the number of trait slots, maybe you could try a trait mod so you have more traits to choose from

hi, I love this mod and never play without it, but at a certain point it just maxes out the number of available traits. for robots this comes very early actually. and then after that researching any more becomes a waste. is there any way you could add extra available trait slots with the added points from the repeatable?

already add max piont but it not work.
I won't change base piont to pass it bugs or the AI will got a lots of things at starting game.

Ok I updated this with the new lithoids species added to the archetypes file. Please let me know if there is anything else wrong as I am unable to play it currently. GG:steamhappy:

Yep, this is the cause of the "0 Lithoid Trait Points" bug. Needs to add the
LITHOID = {
inherit_trait_points_from = BIOLOGICAL
}
line into the species archetype file

After Lithoid update this mod has become very incompatible with the new species... where having it enabled will prevent the creation of any Lithoid custom empire.

Issue persists, error unchanged. Seems to have to do with the file 'gui/tools/save_dialog.gui' maybe check whether you access that file somewhere in your code?

@jowe01 What version are you running. Im using 2.2.1 and it shows fine in my launcher. I know they are working on a 2.2.2 patch but I will update to that when it goes live;)

Great! You might still change the version number, else the launcher shows your mod still as outdated.
