I can't access the safe without using the toggle collsion command
Ragnar'Khan 16 Dec, 2015 @ 6:55pm
wish it was a bit bigger but not outragously, thank and great work
Wolflord 2 Aug, 2015 @ 6:06am
But you gave the castle really good detail. so good work.
Wolflord 2 Aug, 2015 @ 6:05am
I love it, but some things can be fixed, such as the office safe, it doesn't work. or the throne chair, I cant see anything when I sit in it. I don't really feel like a lord when im in the castle. I cant interact with my workers. maybe if we were treated more like a jarl and actually have the option to control people change guards armor and go to war, this castle can have a big purpose.

Domio: I'm afraid a new job has sucked away my time somewhat, so I am struggling to find time for this mod. It's a shame, but I will try to chip away at the problems that you have raised.
Tarthian: That sounds like a major problem you are having! If you want an alternative method, delete the mod file from your Skyrim game files. Then try subbing again if you want to.

Won't properly load, cannot unsubscribe.

@FuriousSimian any eta on when you might do an update on this mod?
Domio 28 Dec, 2014 @ 10:53am
Perhaps you could make the children's room a part the Lord's quarters? That way you're not making an entirely new wing for just a children's room.

Hello all. Thank you for your continuing interest and contribution to this mod!
clark.sjclark: Thank you for your very kind words, I'm glad you like the house. Those are all excellent comments and suggestions; I have encountered the mounting one before, but havent found the conflict (if that is the solution) yet.
Sheogorath: Try heading to the basement and beyond for some secluded magical spots. As far as spell-book fusion goes, i'm afraid that lies beyond my skill to create.
Scythemaster892: There are plenty of NPCs in the castle. Loads of them! Hang out in the great hall in the early evening, and they'll all come in to eat. Say hello.
Dominicbellantoni: Thank you for your suggestions and your very kind comments. Those are great suggestions, notably the childrens room. Unfortunately, I have tried to keep the interior of the castle believeable to the proportions of the exterior, and so have rather run out of room! It is on my list of problems however, so watch this space!
Domio 19 Dec, 2014 @ 6:32pm
A few suggestions: Make it so that you can close the porticullus after you enter the home, perhaps a room for the children and a training dummy for children or the player to use. Overall though this is the best player home i've seen thus far.
scythemaster892 27 Nov, 2014 @ 9:11pm
Are there npc's in the castle? i mean, wouldnt want to be lonely for a king right?
Mirahael 8 Nov, 2014 @ 4:23am
is there a small special location where you can do some secret conjuring? like maybe a special station (like a forge) but you can fuse certain spell books to make other types of higher ones
clark.sjclark 31 Oct, 2014 @ 5:59am
This is an excellent mod with good attention to detail both aesthetic and functional. It is a grand home without being over the top. I would like to make one suggestion and to mention a couple of problems I'm having in case you have solutions. First, the suggestion: a second pull chain in the castle courtyard to enable raising and lowering of the portcullis when one is in the fort. The first of the two problems I am having concerns the office safe. I have found the key but can't interact with the safe. I have tried standing near and far and have combed the office looking for another way to activate it. No luck. The second problem concerns the weapon plaques and racks. I can put things on them but can't take them off. I suspect this might be due to another mod. Have you encountered this problem. Again, great mod.

Hi Larryusc54. The house is automatically yours upon installing the mod. Stroll in and take control of your rightful estate.
Senorbulzeye69 27 Aug, 2014 @ 6:04pm
um how do you take ownership of the house?
FuriousSimian  [author] 7 Apr, 2014 @ 10:59am
Hello all. Thank you for your feedback.
Teshub10: The Christmas decorations are set up only during the festive period each year. The rest of the year they spend in storage.
Chris B and Teshub10: I had not considered making the garden 'DIY'. That is an excellent suggestion and I will make sure to look into it!
BlackJack1945: Not inherently. You would need another mod which allows families to live in any location.
stephen.derych: I would encourage you to acquire Hearthfire. The features that it adds may be minor, but they are excellent for immersion (Cooking, growing, baking, etc).

🌠Niqqu 29 Mar, 2014 @ 3:26am
Why does it need Hearth fire ?? !! Evrey good house i find does!
Teshub10 27 Mar, 2014 @ 7:08am
Overall very nicely done mod, can not plant anything in garden (would be nice), can not see/find xmas tree or the chest, tcl/tfc does not work for me, other than that good job...))
BlackJack1945 21 Mar, 2014 @ 12:47pm
Can children and our spouse live there?
Chris B 18 Mar, 2014 @ 4:58am
Can you plant stuff of your own choice in the garden like the Hearthfire DLC? Many thanks in advance!!
Teshub10 12 Mar, 2014 @ 4:53pm
Just dl'd the castle, are the xmas decorations already up, and if not can they be put up and if so how?.........Thumbs up/added to favorites..good job from what i see here (will no more when i start game).....))
FuriousSimian  [author] 1 Mar, 2014 @ 4:20am
Hello all, Thank you for your continued support.
@Zero: Shh, dont tell everyone. Those are the Christmas decorations. Which are currently in 'storage'.
@Bane: Yeah, most of the NPCs are essential. I hadn't considered someone wanting to besiege the place >.<
TheDifferential 27 Feb, 2014 @ 12:14am
Haha, just answered my own question. Everyone is marked essential, just in case anyone else was curious.
TheDifferential 26 Feb, 2014 @ 11:26pm
Hmm...do any of these npcs respawn? I have an orc character that's gathered a bunch of other orcs, and our current living space is feeling a bit cramped. Storming a castle full of humans sounds like a lot of fun, but it would kinda suck if everyone kept respawning.
HylianLZ 25 Feb, 2014 @ 9:22pm
I like how there's a Christmas Tree and a chest of random stuff outside the main hall. Literally outside of it... You have to use tcl or tfc to see it.
mrjquinn7 10 Feb, 2014 @ 1:37pm
How do I get my wife to move into the Castle? as well as followers? do I just have the followers stay put?
BrokenLance94 16 Dec, 2013 @ 9:35pm
This mod is great! Not going to lie, my first thoughts once I stepped into the castle was "Omg, it's like Winterfell" and being as how I have the Robb Stark armor mod, this goes perfect with it! Wonderful job!
bradenholland 14 Dec, 2013 @ 3:12pm
hi
FuriousSimian  [author] 14 Dec, 2013 @ 6:12am
Hello meesna.mungur, sorry for the late reply. The key you need for the door in the basement can be found in the small chest behind the Centurion docking station. It is called "Dwemer Key".
The small room in the vault is not supposed to be accessible, it is just a feature. The vault cannot be accessed from inside the castle at the moment, I still need to work out where it would line up with the interior.
I hope this answers some of your questions. Any other problems, do let me know!
meesna.mungur 3 Dec, 2013 @ 7:05pm
can you tell me how i open the door that requires a key in the basement i tried the keys in the vampire room and the torture room but they don't work. where is the key? Also when you go into the vault there is a small semi circle that you can look into another room which looks like it has a dead giant or something in it how do you get to that room? (or is that the room that you need the key for?) lastly is there a way to the vault directly from inside the castle?

Thanks alot for the castle it is absolutely amazing. love the bard and the christmas tree most of all :)
thanks.

This castle works perfect for me. I'm a starved vampire, so I'm powerful as hell, but everyone in other cities attack me. This is my vampyric castle >:) they just sent like 10 thugs after me and a single guard slaughtered em all XD
FuriousSimian  [author] 29 Nov, 2013 @ 6:01am
House of Silvani: I may be mistaken but I thought mannequins were genderless? Is it a problem with armour not displaying properly? Let me know.
}SoC{: There are very good mods available which should solve that for you. If you are still having trouble, do let me know.
Gillan2020: Thank you again :)
G20 13 Nov, 2013 @ 3:17pm
I've added this to a collection, I thought you mioght like to know (as it's a compliment) as i know you don't get notifications on this. Thanks for the great mod ;)
Reginald C. Aptitude 27 Oct, 2013 @ 3:30pm
Great mod though all NPC's suffer from the gray face bug.
Guild of Rogue Force Users 22 Oct, 2013 @ 6:34am
is it possible to have some female maniquiens please?
FuriousSimian  [author] 22 Sep, 2013 @ 7:58am
SparklyBon: There are one or two references hidden around, but I try not to get too carried away :L
Erotes: Thank you for your thoughts. The merchant is on my list, I think a link hasnt been set up quite correctly.
Eros 22 Sep, 2013 @ 3:21am
I love this castle...the only thing that kind of bothers me, which i know can't be changed, is that it faces away from the town...But i love this house...oh, also i marked for delete and disabled the vendor (who doesn't work) and is camped out in teh throne room.
MickGriddle 15 Sep, 2013 @ 4:45pm
Now I must know, do your other 3 mods have references hidden in them?
MickGriddle 15 Sep, 2013 @ 4:39pm
Thanks a lot man. "SparklyBon's Keensight" I love it and it goes great with my crossbow mod. I feel like a derp though when i spent probably half an hour or more looking for it when it was just added today.
MickGriddle 15 Sep, 2013 @ 4:16pm
Wait you just added it today? Well shucks you're makin' me feel all special and stuff. ^_^
FuriousSimian  [author] 15 Sep, 2013 @ 12:37pm
@SparklyBon. I think I have just the thing... Have a look around the Abandoned Vault, accessed from the wall behind the livestock.
MickGriddle 10 Sep, 2013 @ 10:57am
Do I win a prize? OwO
MickGriddle 10 Sep, 2013 @ 10:57am
Yay ^w^
FuriousSimian  [author] 9 Sep, 2013 @ 5:31am
Congratulations @SparklyBon, you are the first person to notice the Harry Potter reference!
dmsscottivo 8 Sep, 2013 @ 6:14pm
could you add sleeping area for kids and housecarls to it please and get back to me
MickGriddle 8 Sep, 2013 @ 7:39am
I saw a bookshelf with a sabre cat tooth and a ruined book in the lord's quarters. I see what you did there. ;)
FuriousSimian  [author] 3 Sep, 2013 @ 3:32am
@jake_craun:
I owe an apology myself as I have been away for a few months and, ahem, forgot that the basement existed. However, I now know what you are after! There are two copies of the key for the cells. One is on the desk in the Vampire Room, just behind the deer skull candle. The other one I have just added, and is on the table in the Prison Room, infront of the skulls.
Hope this helps,
Furious

The only keys I couldn't find are the ones that unlock the torture chambers cages. I do apoligize if there is already a chain, lever, or key that I have missed for the torture chamber cages.
FuriousSimian  [author] 31 Aug, 2013 @ 8:36am
Thank you all for your comments and feedback.
I have been struggling to make this house Spouse-Compatible but will keep trying.
There is always room for more people to work and live in the castle...
@jake_craun: There is only one key- for the Lord's Safe, located on the shelf just next to it. Everything else is levers and chains. If I have missed any though, do shout.
