Tarthian: That sounds like a major problem you are having! If you want an alternative method, delete the mod file from your Skyrim game files. Then try subbing again if you want to.
clark.sjclark: Thank you for your very kind words, I'm glad you like the house. Those are all excellent comments and suggestions; I have encountered the mounting one before, but havent found the conflict (if that is the solution) yet.
Sheogorath: Try heading to the basement and beyond for some secluded magical spots. As far as spell-book fusion goes, i'm afraid that lies beyond my skill to create.
Scythemaster892: There are plenty of NPCs in the castle. Loads of them! Hang out in the great hall in the early evening, and they'll all come in to eat. Say hello.
Dominicbellantoni: Thank you for your suggestions and your very kind comments. Those are great suggestions, notably the childrens room. Unfortunately, I have tried to keep the interior of the castle believeable to the proportions of the exterior, and so have rather run out of room! It is on my list of problems however, so watch this space!
Teshub10: The Christmas decorations are set up only during the festive period each year. The rest of the year they spend in storage.
Chris B and Teshub10: I had not considered making the garden 'DIY'. That is an excellent suggestion and I will make sure to look into it!
BlackJack1945: Not inherently. You would need another mod which allows families to live in any location.
stephen.derych: I would encourage you to acquire Hearthfire. The features that it adds may be minor, but they are excellent for immersion (Cooking, growing, baking, etc).
@Zero: Shh, dont tell everyone. Those are the Christmas decorations. Which are currently in 'storage'.
@Bane: Yeah, most of the NPCs are essential. I hadn't considered someone wanting to besiege the place >.<
The small room in the vault is not supposed to be accessible, it is just a feature. The vault cannot be accessed from inside the castle at the moment, I still need to work out where it would line up with the interior.
I hope this answers some of your questions. Any other problems, do let me know!
Thanks alot for the castle it is absolutely amazing. love the bard and the christmas tree most of all :)
thanks.
}SoC{: There are very good mods available which should solve that for you. If you are still having trouble, do let me know.
Gillan2020: Thank you again :)
Erotes: Thank you for your thoughts. The merchant is on my list, I think a link hasnt been set up quite correctly.
I owe an apology myself as I have been away for a few months and, ahem, forgot that the basement existed. However, I now know what you are after! There are two copies of the key for the cells. One is on the desk in the Vampire Room, just behind the deer skull candle. The other one I have just added, and is on the table in the Prison Room, infront of the skulls.
Hope this helps,
Furious
I have been struggling to make this house Spouse-Compatible but will keep trying.
There is always room for more people to work and live in the castle...
@jake_craun: There is only one key- for the Lord's Safe, located on the shelf just next to it. Everything else is levers and chains. If I have missed any though, do shout.
