This version is really out of date, so I think that's why it isn't compatible. I don't blame the dev tho for not fixing it because paradox just keeps updating and making the devs have to constantly work on their mods which can be annoying when you don't really have the time

I'm aware it still works but you could probably try and update it or at least mark it as compatible

Updated code for 1.5.4. Should still work with other mods. I havent done any extensive testing so let me know and ill try to get to it.

you need to research radios in order to get your troop to actually enter combat

when i start a border conflict my troops gather but do not join combat. instead they just stay reserves and then i loose the border conflict. why?

First off, I love the idea of this mod (and the others you have), but I will say this is quite OP in SP. IMHO, this version is more for MP.

Might I recommend adding a start of game option (like Expert AI) where you can adjust a few things. I would love if the AI would be given a option after "X" amount of border conflicts, they can justify on you or something. Maybe something with the core/colony mechanic. If it is a colony, they do not care as much, but core, they can justify on you. Just some idea's.

Yes, I know you have other mods, that allow the AI to border conflict back. I may test that soon, to see how well it works.

It's way too OP. You can easily and quickly take over another country without declaring war and without the AI reacting to it. Also, the cooldown doesn't seem to work at all. As Spain, I took over half of France while they were occupied fighting Germany in about a month.

10/10 you can take over most of the world and not declare war.

i slowly went through states it had untill i annexed Chile

i played this mod and maybe it's just the country feeling threaten or deterred but i annexed Chile through the border conflict without ever starting a war the AI doesn't seem to escalate things at all

Have you attempted with AI being capable of enacting the border conflict?

When i escalate to border conflict i am instantly defeated, even when they dont bring troops.
