How is my computer this cracked.... IT DOWNLOADED THE MAP IN LIKE 3 SECONDS?

I downloaded this but don't see it in the saved games, but it shows up under Steam Workshop as being downloaded both in game and on the web.

I have it downloaded, my PC is fine and im not on a supercomputer, it just takes patients

Anyway, your city looks absolutely amazing, and 1 million people is an impressive number to say the least, and I'll give it a try just for the sake of finding out whether or not it even fits into my PC's memory. Thank you for sharing.

I agree about Unity's unsuitedness for such games. I play with some 180 mods and 220 assets active, and the framerate drops to less than 10 fps in densely build areas on my Core i7 with a GTX 970M (like a 1050 Ti). Using standard settings, the game in fact doesn't even make full use of the hardware. I only got 100% GPU usage after installing the Dynamic Resolution mod and scaling the internal resolution up to 175%, so the internal calculations are made for a virtual resolution of ~3.5K pixels instead of the 2K pixels of 1920x1080 (my GPU has 3GB of mem, so the 3.5K is all that fits), giving a much clearer image, especially with building textures, without any drops in performance. The game is instead sluggish-by-default with all those mods loaded and running.
RAM usage with my current setup is 20GB. My machine has 24GB, and Windows needs around 3GB, so there is typically less than 1GB of free memory left when playing C:SL. This means that I cannot install any more mods or assets.

Chute Mi You shoud be able to load this Map without any Mod! I think you only need 81 Tiles.

I used 106 Mods and 4600 Assets. Its normal that the game only have around 15FPS with this many Assets and Mods! I have GTX 1080, Ryzen 7 1700X and 32Gb Ram. The Unity engine kills the FPS because it is not good for a full moded game. The unity Engine is good for Shooter games but not for a huge Citie Builder!

How do you keep a stable fps? I have abeastly computer which runs almost every game on ultra and 60 - 120+ fps. but for some reason i only get 20 fps in city skylines when my city is above 10k citizens... have any tips? or know any mods I might have which destroy you fps?
