this never works anymore and that was just a game i had so i looked it up and copied it

It dosent work... Even when it does, id rather use the spud gun method of detatching/ decoupling objects, as it works 100% of the time...

why is the decoupler picture from ksp

it is a cool mod you should make a coupler mod that adds a invisble block but when its next to two blocks it will appear and weld for a split second

Its too bad to hear about this mod breaking hope it can be fixed at some point or you come up with something better hope you make some new mod stuff also remeber the request i made you looked into about the contact destruction blocks using the spudgun mechanics the sharp stuff mod came out with exactly what i was talking about actualy i wonder if they might be able to help you find a way to recover the workings of this mod anyway look forward to more mods from you

I'm sad to say it is no longer working and I'm not good enough at lua and sloothing to fix it. I will leave it up with the video but it no longer works.

I have been informed that the mod is completely broken I'm sorry. I will attempt to fix it but I may be unable if I can't fix it I will take down the mod.

I only changed one value, took things out of the code and did a whole lot of following instructions and troubleshooting... lots and lots of troubleshooting . I don't know enough lua (the main coding language of the game) to really make that a reality.
Sorry @SometimesitsnotMinecraft. Other modders are better at it than me... by alot.

@jacobmpp you have experience reworking the spud guns scrip from this mod right? do you think it would be possible to make a block that when it comes into contact with another destructibl block destroys it on contact similar to the hammer? There is more to the idea but if this much can not be done then there is no point going into the rest.

If y'all want I could make one that is the same but the X is the only part you can paint if that is a popular idea I'll do it.

I noticed when i restarted my game this mod downloaded an update and i can not load a map with this mod but the decoupler block is black now and wont connect to a button or switch so I guess i will try your earlyer advice of cache clearing and all that but hey it didnt crash my game this time

Well I would have to update the video and change the description so I am afraid I can't do that for you _truemastermine_ it is an asthetic change that I don't feel is worth the effort and would set a dangerous presedent for the future frivalous requests.

Try unsubscribing or clearing your cache then retrying. The same happened to me and it just fixed itself so I don't know how to fix it but I know it can work. To clear your cache go to the Scrap Mechanic folder in you steam common folder and delete everything in the cache folder but not the folder itself.

The video of the workings of this mod look great and I would love to use this mod but sadly it still crashes my game the second the loading bar finishes let me know if you need the crash report or log file to find the error or if you have some specific instructions ( I am using the test beta 0.3.0 and have no issues with other test version mods )

Thanks for the reminder I forgot to include the test branch requirements. I'm making a video discribing it and some testing as well as a "the making of" video later on. I'll be sure to add links to those vids very soon becuse "school's out for summer!".

xTra : I have been using test branch 0.3.0 since it came out and have had no problems like this with other test branch mods tho it is good to have your comment here as many do make that mistake

XD KSP Decoupler

Unfortunately when i tried loading this mod by its self on a flat map world my game would crash every time but this is a new mod and still being worked on I assume I will try again tomorrow to see if it works for me then
