@hud can you check on the script the base game does
(when using celestial portal) because that retains your learned prototypes and recipes

Um can you pls make it so each character has a save slot becouse i like walter and webber
and i use this mod so i don't have to keep making new worlds but each time i do it
forgets my map and how many days i've survived can you pls fix it?

hud idk if you're still around or not but with the introduction of that moonportal, you can save maps/recipes and such now (however it requires the world to have the moonportal).

Yo. Your last comment stated that the map and recipes were reset when you switched characters. Did that get changed, or is it still like that?

Azh: At the moment it does erase your map/recipes. I would like to include an option to retain them but I'm not sure if the API allows for this, when you go to character select it basically despawns your entire character and starts over fresh.

I made this because I didn't like the idea of having a key like "P" that could accidentally be pressed and despawn your character. This way you bring up chat and simply type #change_char to go to character select.
