Why are people asking for updates? This mod isn't being updated past 1.3 a link at the top of the page directs to a 1.4 collection one of which is the 1.4 version which also has a link to a 1.5/6 version.

I want to pour a drink to the greatest android mod to ever do it. Not insanely complicated, great graphics, balanced. It will be sorely missed, nothing else comes close.

Why people ask about 1.6, when we don't even have 1.4 and 1.5 for this mod? Author just turned off(
But I wanna say, maybe it's near the most balanced mod for robopawn making. In the endgame can be OP, but only in very late game. U can't make god damn near free perfect pawn like in vanilla-android, or something like

yeah sure, you can rewrite it to fix bugs, the complaint is that they also rewrote the core stats and gameplay the mod added, It's not the same mod anymore.

this mod was so buggy in its final days that a large scale rewrite is needed to fix bugs
but the guy who tried it stopped after a bit
killathon took it to rewrite fully instead

The rewrite for 1.6 is just that, a rewrite, it's not the same thing, and the 1.5 version is not maintained and is still 1.5 with all the old bugs and glitches.

and a full rewrite for 1.6" is wild, thank you for your useless (and wrong) opinion ShivKnight, go download Killathons ABF synstructs mod, because that is the best you are going to get.

the mod would need a whole rewrite and no way people donate enough to make a modder whose largely quit for 3 years or more return

Wish there was a successor that kept all the cool upgrades that let you max out a t4 androids stats, so expensive, but so awesome once finished

Synstructs is the successor to this for 1.5 (and once 1.6 drops for 1.6). Unfortunately the SkyMind and related features got left behind in 1.4, due to unfixable bugs and an unwillingness by our main coder to deal with it.

You can also check out Mechanical Humanlikes + SkyMind for 1.4, which, in my opinion, is the best version of the mod you can find. (It doesn't hurt that I was involved in getting it there >:])

major game breaking updates ARE only once every year or 2 already
1.3 and 1.4 had over a year between them
modders DO NOT need to update for the hotfix updates between them

this mod died during 1.2 when it merged with the addon and then didnt fix any of the issues the merger caused

i am still sad its been left behind, tho i partially blame the rimworld devs for doing constant updates on a game that remains popular primarily due to its modding community, they need to space out the updates to only major updates and/or bugfixes once a year so there are as many mods compatible with each version of the game and lessen stress on mod devs
if they just spaced out the game updates, much less work would need to be done by the hundreds to thousands of modders that need to update there mod to the current game version every small update

theres the reason he hasnt done so
thats why theres 2 replacements

you guys did a fuckers job, this mod deserves a proper recode that works with no big flaw in 1.4 or 1.5, if i learn how to code properly, i will do it myself, theres no reason to don't do it (except for the difficulty).
