Saw this darn and just had to say, Jared Diamond was not a historian, he was a bloody ornithologist, a bird scientist. His methodology was extremely questionable and actual historians are pretty damn critical of his work. It's the historical equivalent of evopsych.

I recommend you look at "Guns, Germs, and Steel" by the historian Jared Diamond, as there are non-racist reasons (related to geography, climate, and politics) why most scientific and economic advances took place in Europe during the time-frame of this game.
