@Bassfrom- there are too many options to select before starting a game and i am unable to find the map under custom.
for ex. should i select base game or expansion from the very top? and so on. too many options.

Unless they changed something, it should appear in the scenario list when you select "Custom scenario" instead of for example Random map or Death match

Are you playing The Forgotten or African Kingdoms? The new civs are not supported by this scenario, so you need to play one of the old civs for it to work properly

Can't spawn troops as host. AI spawns fine, player 2 spawns fine, single player vs AI i swap troops. Just can't spawn torrps in multiplayer. Can any1 help?

You either join a multiplayer lobby that is already hosting it, or you create your own lobby, but instead of Random Map or Deathmatch, you select scenario and scroll through your scenario list to find the scenario and select it :)

Yeah, most multiplayer scenarios requires the players to be in the specific player order (meaning 1 to 8), otherwise some triggers will not work properly :)

Nevermind we fixed it turns out host needs to be player 1 if he wants to spawn any troop (of any civ) Well thats at least what happend to me

Im having a little trouble... Everyone else is spawning units but im not i even asked what they were doing and they said nothing it just auto spawned (playing with friends)

In the original game you can make a map print using CTRL + F12, they removed that feature in the HD Edition.

This is a multiplayer map. The computer AI is too stupid to play this correctly, unfortunately :(

Are you playing multiplayer? I do confess, the entrances to the bases are slightly too small and easily becomes bottlenecks.

I think I did this wrong. It seems to be 7 on 1. Or i have 3 "teammates" who are doing absoultely nothing. I am the Koreans and currently have the Saracens, Persians and Mongols rushing me. As the Koreans I dont seem to need to build anything however, and I am holding off those three civs off at my doorstep, but cannot advance anywhere now.

I have 3000 kills, my score doubles 2nd place so far. Any thoughts on what happened here?

Do you play against the computer or against other players? Computer players attacks the player with highest scores (=you). If you play against humans, then they just want you out of the game, probably because you are a threat to them.

I really like this map. I had a similar idea for a map but I didn't know how to create it so I'm glad you made this. :) There is one problem that I'm having though, at some point all the enemies seem to attack you at once and you can't really do anything about it so you're at a stale mate. Any thoughts?

I think downloading is instant. Perhaps you need to restart the game. The subscription system was a big glitched when aoe2HD came out, I am not sure if they have fixed it.

Also, there is a limit to how much teamwork you can give until you should worry about yourself. if you give to much you are left vulnerable. On an unrelated note, I can't seem to find this map, what's it called? I hit subscribe which, if my eyes didn't decieve me, said it downloads after subscribing, I got no indication of a download so i'm guessing its instant

Basse, teamwork is overpowered, but in this case, it's to simple a tactic to call godly skill and teamwork. The main reason this works is because of the units., if this weren't the case then teamwork should stop them, but it couldn't, it never would.

Though it took longer than it should have, the huns being backed up by the japanese and teutons (no doubt because they knew the huns were way to good an ally (because of their units) to let go) the huns eventually fell by the power of the Byzentines, persians, and a little bit of spansish here and there (the spanish mostly fighting the japanese, who were adjacent to the spanish) Eventually my team one, which also proves how the huns, the britons, and the chinese are really just OP in the beginning. but even though they are only dangerous in early game, it's enough time to wipe out a civ or two.

Now, I just got out of a match where that scenrio happened to me, i got the Aztecs (random civ go figure) and i was surrounded by the teutons and britons, first the Britons crushed all my units with ease, then, despite the teutons being next to me, the huns (go FIGURE) came and did what i explained previously. Now about like a minute or two in it was onvious I woul;d be defeated (and i was) but my teammates, who knew as well as I did that getting through the longbowmen would be impossible, attacked the huns since most of their units were killing me and my teammates knew this. an eye for an eye you might say.

Teamwork will always be over powered, in any scenario, any gamemode, any game. If you can work good together as a team, you have a bigger chance of winning.

Yeah the enemies might have used teamwork but that doesn't excuse the fact that stradegy is over powered. And it wouldn't be smart for your teammates to send every single unit because in a 4V4, the other two enemies will invade their base and all their units are away trying to help you. What it really comes down to is who attacks who first, which shouldnt happen.

Your teammates cant always help you basse, pretty much every host I have played with goes "OOO lets have everyone get a random civ and random team, its not like anybody would be surrounded by enemies, making it near immpossible for teammates to help them!" And that's another problem, if your teammates down have the right units to counter your invaders, they can't break through to help you. Most of the time if not all, Some enemy with huns or a cavalry unit will go directly for your castles, ignoring EVERYTHING, and their buddy will have a MASS ton of archers pretty much insta-killing every single unit and army that your teammates send your way.

Huns are great for taking down buildings, especially if they have a ranged civ team mate to give support to the tarkans. It is depending a lot, like any castle blood, on your teams civ and how well you play together as a team. You can't go solo with huns against a saracen player for example.

Not onloy that but huns normally can destory at leats one gate even if you have all your units possible firing upon them.

My previous comment however is not directed towards this map in particular, i havent had the chance to play this map, but the map most people use is where my commet, mainly for the huns, takes place. The map i'm mostly referring to has some space behind the castles with which you can fit units into. this is a problem when fighting or being invaded by cavalry units because melee and low ranged units (<- throwing axemen) cant hit much when the enemy is on that other side of the castles. Way to often do I see players with the huns ignore their enemies and take that space, mostly resulting in a victory in destroying AT LEAST one castle

Conartist, you'd be surprised, most castles fall to the Tarkans because they wont die fast enough, no, huns are very over powered in this game, along with britons and chinese, now if you were to survive until you have enough kills for castle age and upgrade all that you can in castle age, your chances of survival is still a little less than half,if your fighting alone

if there are no teams, or even just teams of 2, this would probably be imbalanced. Since you only start with the ability to make faction-specific units, some will have great advantages. for instance, the Hunnic Tarkans aren't exactly great fighters, especially against Roman Cataphracts or Spanish Conquistadors. Even though Tarkans are good vs buildings, I highly doubt that someone with superior units will allow you to take down 4 walls before slaughtering you.

It's actually quite balanced IMO. It's like most Castle Blood scenarios, you need teamwork.
