+Lots of monsters and loot.
+Nice scenery.
+Interesting story and quirks.
+Pretty large world.
Cons:
-Not for solo play, unbalanced and punishing even at the easiest difficulty.
-Enemies will spam abilities, and cooldowns don't seem to apply to them.
-May favor ranged and spellcasters, just a hunch.
the missions you go on are all a bit different wich is good and of course plenty of combat.
The only bugs i have encountered are NPC´s skipping there own dialog wich hardlock´s the file unless you can load older saves.
you feel strong and powerfull
UNTIL the ennemys permastunn you with one of manny effects.
knockdown; Mad : provoke :entangle : and so on.
As an example there are 8 ennemys vs me, ALL of these 8 enemys can provoke me. from this point on the fight plays itself and i found myself minimizing untill the fight was over as i had no controll of what my ONLY charackter was doing. these things happen to often. there are way to manny controll effects on the ennemys. and it takes minutes until its my turn again. I would recomend taking most of these controll effects away from the ennemy or replacing them with something that does not take player controll away.
+ Actually has a story to tie it all together; you're not just an aimless murderhobo
+ There's a "Buffoon" tag.
* Exactly what it says on the tin: lots of fighting and loot, little to no dialogue.
* I have no idea where a merchant to sell to is, or if there even is one. This led to me accumulating a lot of useless junk. Might just be me, though; the mod description DOES say "not a lot of shopping".
- Crashes when you talk to or attack the merchant.
I ran a Warfare/Polymorph dwarf, and had a surprising amount of fun. Thanks for modding!
A few moments and bugs:
1) In the dungeon I had a bug, where one fire beetle stuck in the floor.
2) The trader with the invitation - for me the mod crashes when the fight with him starts (at his first turn). Luckily, I was able to steal his chest )
3) In my opinion the mod could benefit from fewer battles. For example, in the initial area there several groups of skeletons, in the dungeon there several groups of insects etc. Since the mod has a lot of battle encounters removing repeating ones could improve the pace.
Overall - great work!
i reloaded before the last fight. So I had 2 demons and a level 6 trader. I couldn't talk, steal or trade with the trader. Are we meant to be able to? Did you update the change log? (probably and i missed it!)
