Yes, it's not letting me use it because it thinks it's out-of-date.

Not sure how the "Legacy" thing works. I guess it doesn't let you use it?
I haven't touched HD in a long time. I prefer UP to HD, so I haven't even had HD installed for years.

The game considers this mod legacy now. Do you think you could update it?

If you think about how you would see the light reflection on the surface of the waves at a distance then you would expect to see the hilight opposide the direction of the Sun because the rays are being reflected back at you.

Most people assume North is Up unless told otherwise. :P

Actually, the mini-map north doesn't necessarily suggest north. There is no indication of "north" anywhere near the mini-map. It's sensible only if you assume that. In fact considering the mini-map is a diamond shape (or rotated square), you could assume that the right side is north facing and so the sun shining isn't incorrect, really. Just the way you see it.

Works great. (I use Manu's HD Textures)

What this changes is the sky_hemisphere.png file, so try installing your texture pack and then installing this over the top (Delete the mod files, unsubscribe and resubscribe after installing your texture pack)

To be honest I am not sure. But when I turn on the texture mod the light goes back to default position.

@Sgt. Pepper: Yes, the originals doo look nicer (Although IMO without the green/blue colour overlay) but this is more logical to me.

Why won't it work with your preferred textures, Spoon?

I love this. Too bad it won't work with my preferred textures. :<

I appreciate the work that must have gone into this, but for inconequential things like this, aesthetics should take precidence over realism and for me, the original looks better aesthetically

Great work, now the water doesn't look too bright. Thanks man!
