This mod doesn't work with stardust core. It will crash to desktop. It will only work with Quickbar Mini

the mod is good, but it fits very poorly with the narrative of the main game, for example, if it were a summoning object, it would be much better

My mod stop working on one of my characters. I try to despawn, spawn, editing anything and nothing happens... It seems bugged... :/.

@Boy_Mayo that is how it is supposed to be, that way you don't have to redesign your drones each time.

For some reason, when I try to spawn drones with different settings after despawning them, it just reverts to the same settings I had previously.

I was messing with the frost boomerang and made the boomerang just circle around me, and then I was thinking of several video games in which there is some sort of orb barrier that orbits the player, sorta like a magnorb but auto-shields. Can you make some sort of offensive tech similar to this?

Can you make them travel faster to you (If I were to run it would take a few seconds before they could go to me and orbit around me.)

fix a bug with a non-working drone

add projectile protection but make them have the amount of health you have (per shield) and when destroyed they respawn in the amount of time it takes for your energy to refill

Hey, so I just figured out how to recolor most of it. How do I make the front shield red though? I set about half of it to red, but I can't recolor any more of it. Using a hex code color picker, I got most of it, but now whenever I use it it flashes between the original blue and half of the red I was able to add on the front shield. Please help.

Could you give me the list of all the colors so I can use the replace code to make it black and red? Thanks.

@Santoku Tyler just copy and paste the code into the text box at the bottom of the widget.

Its ?replace. It replaces all of one color of pixel with another color of pixel. Basically it is how dyes work in starbound. My custom drone that you see in image three is basically just a custom dyed drone. For people not familiar with the codes I would recommend playing around with codes like ?hueshift=20, ?brightness=13, saturation=50. In the description I attached a link for all of the codes you can use.

@Dhyv Please elaborate. do you mean that the game crashes, Or does the mod just not work? I am happy to help you if specify the issue more clearly.

@warmainiac Technically the drones are fully customizable if you unpack your game assets and find the original drone sprite (/monsters/mechdrone/mechshield/) so you know what pixels to replace. I understand this is tedious so we will add a more conventional method for custom drones soon as we can.

@ShawnyTheFox5 In the next update we are hoping to add a more intuitive color picker for players to customise their drones easier. But until then I think the best way for you to make your drone fullbright have a fire color would be to unpack your starbound assets. Find the drone sprites in /monsters/mechdrones/shielddrone. Use a color picker to find the hex color codes that are used in the original drone sprites fullbright. then use ?replace to replace those pixels with your fire color.
