@eddiemarwick, Thank Eddie. I still fear it might be that those files are stored on STEAM server and not on my computer, but not sure how that would work either. Limited knowledge here I'm afraid, and probably shouldn't be tampering with mods if I don't know what I'm doing, but enjoy the gaming just the same. Cheers.

@acp - Unfortunately I don't use a mac so can't really advise on where the files are. I do know however that some users have had difficulties in accessing the files (I think it may even be impossible to do this but I can't say for certain). I'd recommend googling or looking in the steam workshop discussions whether there is a threat that deals with accessing game files on Mac. Sorry I can't be of more help, hope you find a solution tho.

On the iMac, can you tell me where these computer files might be stored so that I can access them.. I have tried everything I know but to no avail. My game is stored on Steam and not on a CD or other file on the computer if this has any bearing on my futile searching. Cheers.

Is there anyway at all to disable or blur the non race menu back ground? Unmodded its unoticbale but in this mod its so bright, can hardly see the game and its so distracting. Its a deal breaker to using this mod, there must be a way to sort this. Can anyone help? Please :-(

Car models isn´t as well and beautiful as in real life when you load a race. Any help?

@seb andreasen - thanks for letting me know. This is quite a peculiar problem, as errors usually only occur when you try and load the first race. I haven't updated this mod since i posted it so it can't be an update problem. TBH I'm not really sure what it could be beyond a clash in active mods or active car models.

Hello mate @eddiemarkwick, quick one for you. Im on my 13/21 race at the ardennes as soon as i go to qualifying it says "error mods" and just goes grey faded out. Ive since unsubscribed to the mod thinking maybe one of your updates was the reason, but still it wont let me get to quali's. Any idea mate? Really cant bare the thought of losing my progress on this save ha!

@eddiemarkwick I for one love the 1 hour pracice and the real time quali's, definitely a winner, the more realistic the better for me!

Yeah i know but this is a game and it's really easy to find excellent setup in 30mins or less.. no need to have 1 hour practice really. Also 260 million is too much money for this game. I can fire both sebastian vettel and kimi and hire new drivers and i still have 100million plus in the game.. there really is not challenge there, but otherwise this is good mod.

you can also fast forward to where it takes like 2-3 minutes at most

@ABBAJESUS - real practise in f1 is three sessions of 1:30+1:30+1:00. the hour long practise allows the players and ai to get the best set up and test tyres as real life does

1 hour practice is too long! make it 30 mins or something.

@eddiemarkwick sorry mate i meant in your original f1 2018 mod - it was working fine on my mac. Now all the cars have gone black.
This new mod works fine on my mac, but the cars arent as accurate. No worries, its still good though was just saying i prefered the original one.

@seb_andreasen - are the cars still black on this version. For this version I removed the f1 car model and the custom liveries, so it should be all ok?

Yes everything was workign fine on my mac too, now all the cars are black but the halos appear, shame!

@Mx-182 - thanks for letting me know. With this version I will continue to update the database along with the other 2018 mod, but won't attempt to change the car models or liveries

Mod has been updated to remove the 3d 2018 F1 car model, so the game should be very similar to the game before the last update. Let me know if there are still any more problems
