Maybe its a strategic move? Razing it so you can't get it afterwards.......they be playing smarter....

Not my capital they razing. It prevents resurrection of city-states and civs too if their other cities get razed.

RokuroCarisu: Are you starting the game from the mod section? You have to activate the mods and start a game from that area.

This mod did nothing for me. I installed it, even started a new game, and it still wouldn't allow me to raze either capitals or city states.

Idk about you guys but the mod works for me even on a game I didn't start the mod with, I just had to annex my puppet Rome and it is now burning to the ground

Got this mod so I could raze those city states that get in the way of what would be good locations to place a new city, but themselves are placed in terrible places. But the ai sometimes starts to raze every capital it conquers, so I would be cautious by using this

Following on from Birbman, it doesn't seem to be working for me either. I'm using a few core DLCs though I'm unsure if that would interfere with the mod. Any help from the creator would be appreciated :)

Can you add an option to raze your own cities you recapture due to change of mind after it being captured in the first place by an enemy civilsation?

Yup I started a new game and made sure your mod was checked. Maybe I will start a new game with just yours checked. Thanks again for your help. Oh I do have Brave new world....

You should have the option when you capture it or after you annex it. The mod only works if it's enabled from the start of the game so not if you load an old save you started without the mod. I tested with the mods you mentioned didn't see any conflicts.

Thank you for responding so quickly. I am using the reforestation and gatherer mods. When I capture the city state to I have to take it over like my own and then raze it or should I have the option right when I capture it.

Thank you SO much for this! Just downloaded and copied the code into one of Anno Domini's existing LUA files, hoping it would apply midgame and not break anything - and it works!! You just gave me some ingame and outgame happiness by enabling me to raze a useless enemy capital.

@#Luke I'm using 30+ mods. I troubleshot, and found that the ONLY mod among them that is breaking this mod, is 125 Unique Components mod by Volujn. So 125 UC is what's breakign this for me. Your mod works fine with everything else.

this mod doesn't work for me, I have some additional mods installed but none of them are DLL mods. No option to raze, and get the same old "can't raze a city that was a capital" tooltip when hovering over the blacked-out Raze button.
