Ring-world starts are now an option without Mods as of the Federations update. This Mod is basically obsolete unless the author reworks it to keep ring-world starts over powered.

Or does this mod add ONLY the ability to spawn in a triple ringworld system? i was under the impression you could build them as well

How do you build double or triple ringworlds? i only have a ringworld upgrade site which gives me 4 more ringworlds ON the same ring i.e it does not build a 2nd bigger ring it just gives me 4 more habitable sections on the initial one? and it is buggy as you can repeat that for 3 minerals and have infinite worlds in 1 system not sure if its this mod or another as im using many

Unable to colonize ring world sections as they are inhabited by existing pops on all available tiles.

I really like the Mod. But i think for the balancing Issue you should Add the Ringworld preference even for the 1 Ringworld start. Its very strong to have 2 25 tile planets and can easy colonize other planets as well. If you use the Vanilla Gaia wolrd start you only get 1 25 world and have it hart to colonize other things. I would really love to use this on my MP rounds wiht Friends but it feels to strong like this.

Ok a ring world is already a bit of a joke with Gaining resources from it (Minerals mainly) I mean you could get food or energy really, but mining on it would be meh as you had to move those resources to build the habitale parts anyways, plus other problems.

Either way, ONE Ringworld be hard enough to maintian and build in a system but more then ONE is like asking for it to go horriblably wrong.

In all the orbital logistics of this would be a nightmare.
(let alone if they orbited like the picture No sunlight for the back two then.)

I like the imagination of the mod, but it only makes me cringe to think of using it sorry.
just had to put my two cents in it.

Love the triple Ringworld, but it won't let me build habitats around the colonized sections. It has been a while since I last fired up Stellaris, but I was able to do this with ringworlds last time.

Currently I'm busy updating this mod with buildable double/triple ringworld. Because vanilla is so frequently changed, testing maybe not enough... (I want to wait until stable vanilla version released.)

@foxcommander2 it doesnt work with 2.0.4 I tried it out by myself, so I think we have to wait for constructors (Reinhard) redesign of this mod

Like the mod , just 1 thing......makes it tough playing a rogue servitor and having to look for somebody to " integrate " for the bio-trophies. Several starts and confirmed that no bio's show up for the rogue servitor. But it makes for a hellava game start. Ya really gotta play it smart to survive till you find some.

You might need to add to the colonizable planets limit for double and triple ringworlds if you have it set so one cannot colonize anything else but ringworlds.

@reinhard For some reason it is starting me on a habitat instead of the ringworld, and a planet is in the ringworld for the habitat to orbit around

As I've looked into it before anyway - no overrides, only adds new system initializers and two start events (one sets encountered_first_gateway flag, other for "ideal_planet_class = owner.capital_scope").
Should be compatible with all mods.

Though compatibility info is always nice to see in the description, +1.
