But wait, what? So me doing it this way should be better, because it means the nav-mesh will always be in sync with the level.
You have the cached version of the regular xml for when the mod is off and the overwrite for when it's on?
edo 18 Nis 2018 @ 10:30
if the xml of the level changes even a bit, the NavMesh has to be regenerated again at the start of the level, so it needs a longer load time the 1st time, and whenever I want to play the vanilla og campaign again it will have to regenerate the navmesh that was overwritted by the mod.

Not a big issue anyway.

What's the issue with the overwrite? Nothing changes when you turn the mod back off. Some levels have a very slightly different layout and I only copied them by accident when moving the reflection captures over

Very cool, many of those levels have a different feeling now. But I would prefer if this does not overwrite the navmesh of the original campaign.

Strange, some have extra objects, only thing I can think of is that some shaders are removed on levels
Zed 18 Nis 2018 @ 4:24
Maybe it's coincidence but this mod seemed to run a bit better than the original OG campaign.
kavika 18 Nis 2018 @ 4:18
+Zed Amadeus which one runs better?
Zed 18 Nis 2018 @ 2:41
And why is whale man coming out of an iceberg?
Zed 18 Nis 2018 @ 2:29
The beach level, #WATER_HORIZON doesn't load properly. Maybe it doesn't work in conjunction with the others, or is just broken.
Zed 18 Nis 2018 @ 1:37
Did you place any objects or change anything outside of shaders and skies and reflection captures?
Zed 18 Nis 2018 @ 1:35
This runs so much better than the the actual thing!
catheterClown 17 Nis 2018 @ 17:59
Seconded.
kavika 17 Nis 2018 @ 17:40
Cool idea :)
