shes already a mayor of a city(baron), status of women already full, inheritance absolute cognatic
maybe its because shes only at the age of 1? maybe because im a vassal? or maybe mod conflict since i use a lot of mods idk
Didn't test it without any other mods yet though, sorry about that ^^
I've looked at the Pyramids while having this mod active and the game crashed to desktop. Though I did not test if it was the fault of any of the other mods that I run.
Don't know if you plan on updating it but it would be appreciated as this is the best gender laws for republics mod around
@Rukowski I couldn't replicate your issue. Make sure that there are no other mods that are conflicting with mine. It worked as intended in my end.
The changed succession laws seem to be Imperial Elective and anything Pagans can do (as Reformed Pagan religions can have a bunch of different gender rules).
Initially, it looked like cognatic (and enatic) Republics were a thing in vanilla now, however:
I had a few experimental runs earlier with all mods disabled (setting status of women to full in game rules, starting as a Cathar Heretic ruling Venice, starting in a shattered world and reforming the Germanic religion to have equality) and while all of them allow selecting Cognatic inheritance, it only changes succession for non-republic vassals. Women are still excluded from the Patrician Elective system.
Hope that helps you find what needs changing for the new version.
Thanks!
For anyone who's having trouble, or running into the anarchy situation, you've probably got a mod conflict with something. Removing "Republics Fixed" solved the issue for me, but I'm guessing Ancient Religions Reborn also conflicted.
To check for conflicts yourself, navigate to the mod folder of the mod you want to work. notice which files it changes, i.e realm_decisions.txt, republic_governments.txt, etc. then, go back into your mod folder and search for those files. if you see multiple "realm_decisions" or "republic_governments" show up, there's probably a conflict.
If you liked this mod, please rate it. It is important for others to discover this mod.
Would it be possible to lock the enatic gender successions behind the gender laws/game rule? This would be bring the enatic laws in line with the other options.
