Only the beard is set up to be painted. Right click the beard in your animation set editor, select "add override materials". Then right click it again, mouse over to "show in element viewer". Another menu will come up, click "model". sfm will take you to the element viewer tree. From there open the yellow "materials" drop-down menu and then the "cc_summer_2015_el_duderino" dropdown. You'll see a yellow string that says "$colortint_base" (it should be light brown by default). Click on the color and drag the slider until you get your desired color.

If the model will not paint then just delete it and repeat these steps again. SFM is finicky with painting models. (if it doesn't paint the first time, it will the second time.)
