it is a mod for Arma 3, you can find it on the website Armaholic, the main database for Arma games' mods beside steam's workshop :)

Unfortunately, I do not know what ZBE_Cache is.

Yes, I'm sorry it is very ressource demanding, I will try to fix it, I think it is because so many AI's are on the ground at the same time. There are helipatrols, units ready to ambush the player, garrisonned unit in various buildings... As soon as I find a solution to lower the FPS consumption I will update you. Try ZBE_Cache in the meanwhile... :/

I don't know how to sign up for the right mods. I don't understand the list you put out.

Sorry mate, I don't get your question, can you explain ?
Dator 21 Mar, 2020 @ 12:33am
How do you sign fashion? You can't do well?

Mission updated, should not have any problem regarding missing items of any kind. ;)

Hello and sorry for the late answer. I recommand using an older version of the USAF Mod, if you can find one. I don't know if I am allowed to upload the version I have on my side. You can PM me if you want it and I can send it through Wetransfer. In any case, I can tell you that I might soon return to ArmA 3, and therefore, will certainly update this mission and try to improve it. I kept all the files safe, so it shouldn't be too difficult for me to get back to it. :)

The latest USAF Mod does not appear to have the F16, so vehicle no longer exist errors keep cropping up. Any recommendations?

Hey, thank you for your question. The USAF mod I used by then is outdated now and I guess no longer available online in the state it was when I created the mission. However, you can find the latest version here : http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=25512

If you need or want the version I used when creating the mission, just let me know and I'll put a wetransfer link to make it available for download. :)

A little late to the party, but what is the USAF Mod required for the mod to work. I cannot find it for the life of me.

By the way at the beginning of any mission, just wait a few seconds for it to load everything, it will be laggy for like 5/10 seconds then it will be smooth. If you have enough RAM of course.

I'm moving away today, but i'll have a look at this next week ! Meanwhile, I hope you find enjoyment in one of my missions :)

Well the thing is A.I is CPU related, so every unit I've placed at the beginning has to be handled and at the same time your CPU handles the generated enemies and items.

https://forums.bohemia.net/forums/topic/170457-is-it-the-ai-that-effects-the-fps-the-most/

So basically, you would need 32GB of RAM to play it, in order to help your CPU with it, and 16GB of RAM for the Light Version. It has nothing to do with your others specs unfortunately, only with available RAM and CPU as far as I know...

I will try to find a solution to optimize it, but I don't think I can do much more. I will post an update whenever I find a solution.

Until then, feel free to try out the Light or Ultra Light versions, you might still like them. Your computer can handle the Light one easily, and there will still be plenty of traps and vehicles handplaces all around the map, so it's still better for immersion than the Ultra Light version.

Hey man. Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately this mission needs some serious optimization before it becomes playable. I've got an MSI GTX 1080 Ti, an i7 7700K at 4.5Ghz and 16GB of DDR4 ram and I get about 15 FPS. 20 highest. My rig should definitely be able to handle this, but something is wrong here.

Hello, yes in Original versions, there are heavily defended areas with many handplaced enemies and traps, and even ambushes set up to kill unwary players. But at the cost a GPU/CPU intensive mission. :)

In Light and Ultra Light versions however, you will only encounter wandering groups of survivors and bandits, since there are no handplaced enemies (and that's why they are "lighter" missions).

If your computer can handle the Original mission, you will have quite a lot of defended places to raid. But don't worry, there are so many zombies in all versions, you will need to prepare well in order to raid any big city anyways even in Light and Ultra Light versions (plus, survivors are often raiding cities, so that's a threat too).
Disciple 10 May, 2018 @ 2:08pm
Hey, are there any bases for bandits, survivors etc? I love gearing up for a good ol' base raid.

Thank you ! I'm glad you enjoy it :)

Hi there, is there something to do in this (tasks, end game etc) or is it plain survival?
