It doesn't reduce the volume of the reloading sounds so it completely unbalances the audio.

Have been using this mod for months. I thought my reflexes had slowed when i kept being unable to keep up with reloading my shotgun during hordes.. turned this mod off and my troubles went away.
If you examine having this mod on and off, the shotgun reload sound is synced with the animation when it is off, however when it is on, the sound runs faster than the animation and I think that lags the actual reloading down.

Silences pistols almost completely, Shotguns being loaded sound louder, M60 unnaffected. Don't want to bash on the author of the mod but it should have a description on what it alters and what it doesn't.

Great mod. However not all sounds are reduced. I have noticed that the international weapons (CS weapons) sounds are unchanged.

Could someone explain how this one works? If I install, does it add a couple of options to my in game sound controls?

Upvoted. Amasing, some guns like Magnum and AK are unplayable for my ears without this. Could you upload to the Steam Workshop the other sound levels? I tried the -13DB mod but it is too quite, could you make a -7db?

Thank you man, seriously. This game has been nigh impossible to do youtube videos for because the guns are so freakin' loud they drown out everything unless I practically mute the game.

Very nice. Can you do something about environment sounds too? For example the sounds of jets and such on certain maps? They're so much louder than other sound effects.

Less sound from weapons are always welcome to me. Being able to concentrate on other aspects during the game is always a plus. Nice job Maiko.

Maybe in the near future, perhaps lessen the sound on the reload. I noticed you still get full volume when reloading. And if you can, maybe release a workshop item that removes the gunshots COMPLETELY.

Why the fuck would gunshots be under music? Lol.
Ani 4 Apr, 2013 @ 1:35am
perfect! this IS a solution to what my problem was! *-* i can have game volume and music volume loud, and the guns still aren't too loud! thank you so much!
Ani 4 Apr, 2013 @ 1:04am
i will try this out! i always hate that you can just adjust "Sound" and "Music" volume, and i think weapon sounds are under the "Music" thing -.- so lets see if this is my solution!
