@Pheoxin-TTV Sorry, I didn't port it to DE due to issues I had with it during that time. Switching to Classic is quite easy though, just that you won't have your usual mods for DE on that.

If you do want to try this mod anyway, prepare for a ton of jankiness due to my inexperience at the time of making this mod.

that's true, and it's totally fair that you weren't sure how to do it. i wasn't criticizing you, i wouldn't have had any clue how to do any of this. it's still a great campaign so far, thanks for uploading it

@Paladin_Wallace I am aware of that but it doesn't let you freely allocate, which might get you distributions that you don't want, plus the magic mirror in vanilla only appears after Fort Joy. I agree that it is better to allow for full allocation from the start but at that time I wasn't able to figure out how.

i've only played definitive but in vanilla you can ask them to change their class and they respec, and the magic mirror lets you fine tune their stats later on. thanks for the clarification

@Paladin_Wallace An oversight on my part then. I remember there was some issue with assigning them a level-up package since it uses the similar party functions when turning an NPC into a companion. In vanilla DOS2, your companions' combat abilities also come pre-assigned if I recall correctly.

@BowShatter You can allocate ability scores, but civil and combat abilities are already assigned. So even if i could get new skillbooks they couldn't learn them. Is this a bug on my end? I started a new campaign to change some stuff about my character and this was the case both times

@Paladin_Wallace Hmm that's odd. I recall allowing for full reallocation the moment you hire them. As for skills you just need to find vendors who sell skillbooks.

Is there any way to re-spec companions? I've just met the drake siblings and they're both kind of fighters/knights. is there any way to make one of them learn different skills or change their abilities?

yeah I know. But there have been some problems copying the pak fra steam to the doc folder. I must admit this have been in DE edition, but I just thought that could be checked if it was a problem in classic too after the DE release.

@Tiqon I actually used the import project tool in the DE editor a few weeks ago and its just the .meta file that I have to replace with a properly updated one. What I was talking to woodyism5 about is getting the mod to work in the Classic Edition.

So reading that. It seems that maybe you mod does not get copied right. Go to you steam workshop folder (mine looks like this C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\435150 where each mod is in its own folder with a numer). Find the latest one, as that is proberbly this. Copy the .pak file to you DOES2 mods folder. Mine looks like this C:\Users\micdy\Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition\Mods. Start the game.

Cant enable? You run a DE game? This is not updated for DE yet. Or dont you see it in the game? There have been some problems lately with mods not getting moved to the right folder after downloading. Could also be that. Depends on what you experience.

@ No, you don't need to enable adventure mods. Just installing will do. Go into the Singleplayer and access it from the dropdown menu.

@woodyism5 This mod is for the classic edition, I've yet to make a full port for the DE. I have the files transferred into the DE editor but I still have testing to do to ensure nothing is broken.

@Seperoph Story was really light, that's for sure, but it was more of an overlaying story for the adventure than an actual full story-driven adventure. Speaking of garbage, have u tried the engine yourself Seperoph? It's not that easy to design areas you know.

@Gwynern It's fine. Stun and sleep? I think I know what area you are talking about, the castle?

@Phlagnard42 You do have more custom spells at your disposal and unlimited crafting materials if you have the funds.

Garbage complete garbage a 10 year old could have designed a better environment and the story was basically non existant there was no lore in the map anyways except for one woman that gave the story completly away.

Please forgive my friend, he is frustrated after spending a total of 12 turns (in a row) locked down by stun or sleep across several encounters. It was honestly pretty hilarious.

DID YOU KNOW? This mod is made for people who don't have friends. Reason: if you do, there is a 1 in x chance (where x is the number of friends you're playing with), that you will be unable to play). This is due to the mod creators brilliance. Never have i seen someone so expertly put spam CC in ai before. Honestly, the skillsets placed on the AI are phenomenal, I don't think i've ever seen a mod creator so capable at preventing people from actually playing his mod. 10/10 best mod to play with friends.
