I'd write my own script if I were to use something like that :P
dionisiovega 4 Apr, 2018 @ 7:56am
other than that little hiccup, still an awesome little ship!
would it be alright if I show screenshots of it docked in my new ship, once I post it to the workshop?
dionisiovega 4 Apr, 2018 @ 6:59am
no, I know you have them named "Powerplant Batteries" and mine have the name of the ship then a '- batteries'
seems like the batteries are not recognizing they should be recharging instead of discharging, could just be my game bugging out, but that script makes it so you don't need to worry about this sort of issue
Whiplash141  [author] 4 Apr, 2018 @ 6:48am
That is bizarre. Are there batteries already in a group of the same name on the base ship?
dionisiovega 4 Apr, 2018 @ 6:23am
really? I tried that, and it kept using the battery to try and power a whole large ship...
hmmm...

"did you ever consider adding 1 additional programmable block for Isy's Ship Refuler script"
Nope. Toolbar 2, number 7 switches battery state :P
dionisiovega 4 Apr, 2018 @ 2:53am
Hey Whiplash141, did you ever consider adding 1 additional programmable block for Isy's Ship Refuler script? I was having issues when I docked your ship to my latest project ship, that caused it to run it from the Kite's batteries (which instantly overloaded them). Added that script and it fixed my issue, just a suggestion in case anyone runs into the same issue.

In my group ,they said your ship's problem like MEA-FCS:steamhappy:
Pharoah of Bass Pro Shop 3 Apr, 2018 @ 6:52am
mass producing these in my mars base's 3d printer. Whiplash, are you sure you didn't make these too OP? I was in a battle with my friend and I destroyed his light frigate with this. Thanks man, keep up the good work.
dionisiovega 1 Apr, 2018 @ 12:46pm
yeah... did that about 8 times now... at least it is easy to repair as well
Whiplash141  [author] 1 Apr, 2018 @ 12:41pm
Haha thanks! Make sure to turn off the main thrust when docking (Toolbar 1 - Button 8) or else you'll splatter yourself inside the hangar like I often do XD
dionisiovega 1 Apr, 2018 @ 8:28am
This little fighter is a beast! I still forget how fast it accelerates... but it is the perfect size for the hangar on my latest project ship.
TheSilverInfinity 31 Mar, 2018 @ 3:58pm
mmm - these are great for damage testing for the Domination
Tsubasa 31 Mar, 2018 @ 4:56am
I also have a few planes that I wanna have a test. Maybe we can brawl it out someday? (No bricks or anything that ugly)
milkom 31 Mar, 2018 @ 12:11am
Want to test it in combat? I have a interceptor that needs more testing.
Johnny 30 Mar, 2018 @ 10:27pm
And I have cheap twigs thast go full speeds in all directions at a moments notice just for that purpose.
Johnny 30 Mar, 2018 @ 10:26pm
nono for sure whip!!! The speed matching for sure. I know what you were going for. It definately wasn't meant towards an insult to you bro. I know you have been around a while.
Whiplash141  [author] 30 Mar, 2018 @ 10:25pm
@Johnny:
It is great for quick engagements, hence its role as an interceptor. In PVP, we use these as cheap interdiction craft. The small size and considerable acceleration makes them hard to hit especially if you get proficient at using the main thrust to orbit the target.

Naturally any gunbrick will win in a straight jousting battle, but when used effectively, you'll deal more damage to the brick than the Kite costs.

"This is hands down the best PvP fighter currently available"...... with an exposed front faced cockpit, you sir have NEVER, EVER, PVP'd. Pretty pve fighter fo sho!
Dempsey 30 Mar, 2018 @ 6:24pm
awesome design. love the lines.
Mr B. 30 Mar, 2018 @ 10:15am
Be interesting to see that against one of mine ;)
High Ground 30 Mar, 2018 @ 7:54am
I've compared the prototype version of the Mk.3 (which I was able to get a look at, Thanks Whiplash!) and compared it to the release version. And while there changes are subtle, they make the ships survivability even greater than it was before. Better armor protection, and better thruster placement in a few areas make all the difference. Ship was a beast before, now it's even more so.
Geert-Jan 29 Mar, 2018 @ 3:22pm
@whiplash141: Wow also can`t wait for that one also hehe.
Whiplash141  [author] 29 Mar, 2018 @ 2:02pm
@geert Jan: yep! I already have one prreparing for release :)
Marcelo ACFM 29 Mar, 2018 @ 1:00pm
OMG it finally arrived!
High Ground 29 Mar, 2018 @ 12:54pm
This is hands down the best PvP fighter currently available.
Geert-Jan 29 Mar, 2018 @ 12:19pm
I like the whole degisn and battery use. Im a big fan of battery and renewable power. Is it also possible to make this for atmospheric?
Whiplash141  [author] 29 Mar, 2018 @ 10:30am
Hehe thanks! That is my actual kill tally in PvP :)
J4R 29 Mar, 2018 @ 10:11am
Nice one! I especially like the kill marks. A touch that is simple but adds a lot.
Whiplash141  [author] 29 Mar, 2018 @ 9:23am
8 gatlings works well in PvP. Rockets are pretty useless in dogfights and that ammo is too expensive to justify their use in that application
Double Tap 50Cal 29 Mar, 2018 @ 9:03am
aww its cute how ever it could use some moor weapons to increase the ships dakka rateing.
McTec Ind. 29 Mar, 2018 @ 8:36am
you are slowly turning this game into ELITE...well into a game at least. XD
McTec Ind. 29 Mar, 2018 @ 8:35am
^^ so...you say this one is slightly larger...damn I'd still consider this one as very compact compared to what I'm used to.
