Black would be better imo. There are so many red swords. Would also make it look extra cool if the bladefury would be blackish while doing so. Still a very awesome sword.

i love this sword, especially color. It look likes, forged in a mythical creatures mouth with blood. quite unique..

I thought white, but white is bone, but the shape is from a forged weapon, so if it is not red it could be some type of brighty silver, idk just trying to help this go out, because is freaking awesome.

I love the mesh. That's my favorite. Since others pointed out about the color scheme, perhaps you might want to paint it with other colors like white or even black to make it stand out. I'd love to see this as an item.

It is almost the same combination of colors, sure is different, but when you are playing the hero seen from top, when you spin, it might look very similar.. I would like to see a video of it proving me wrong.

Just swap the colors, red to white, white to red. Then you would have something that fits on your set and different from the always favorite odachi. The stripe can be swapped for for a ribbon with words written vertically
