This mod does not appear to work properly in 3.4 so you know. Images are replaced with new humanoid artwork instead

@isiarca But is mod is a portrait mod, how the hell would it used to change Origins/Civics if the only thing it is adding is a namelist and portraits ?

I agree with Danny that ideally this mod would include tiny fairies like we see in Fantasy lore along with the current fairy-queens as two separate options. That would also allow us to use a Syncretic start to have both fairy types on one planet in a multi-fae society. Although I've yet to give this a try so if it does that already then I'll apologize in advance.

When setting the fairies as a syncretic species in a custom empire, the custom empire never spawns as an AI even though I have the empire to be forced to spawn every gane

fairies no longer spawning even if forced active... this has hit a lot of the modded portraits in the recent update.

Managed to get it to work by changing some of your files.

This will make it possible for all the clothing types and hair types and colors be choosable by changing the color variant.

By changing the graphical culture to one of the default ones you could delete the whole graphical_culture folder. This removes the fairy ships and cities from the selection screen entirely without problems. But it seems like you want your species to have a unique ship lighting system different from any of the default ones, so I can see why you want that to stay.

I hope you don't mind that I looked at your files. I'm a new modder to stellaris and portrait modding is not something I have much experience in yet :)

Thanks for the quick response. Is there a possibility that you will add the ability to change the ruler image in the future? I reallylike to be able to use the governor for my ruler. I really like this mod and if the ruler could change clothes it would make having more than one fairy empire seem a bit more different from each other (at least on the start screen).

The reason the avian ship shows up for fairies is because the avian graphic setting is set as the backup for the fairies. As for the reason you can't change the clothes is because the clothes is part of the main image, not an independant asset.

I am for some reason unable to change the clothes of my ruler on the empire creation menu when using fairies as my species portrait. Would it be possible for you to fix this bug at some poin down the line?

I'm also getting these errors on startup when checking my error log: Part 1:

I really like the mod but I do have one question. Does there really need to be a chooseable unique ship appearance set for the fairies if it is just a copy of the avian set? Or do you plan to eventualy have them get their own unique ship models?
