First, download the Left For Dead 2 SDK in the tools section of the Steam Library
Then, Download blender (Its on steam, a 3d modelling program)
Them, google 'blender source tools'

The SDK will come with some sample files located in your Left For Dead 2 Installation Folder. You can use these as a reference.
