How do you get limbs with everyone hating you? or do you need to find a way to kill the leader without limbs?

Stealing from Hive north at the coast (near cannibals) is easier than real cities. Quite a jaunt though, hope you run into dead skimmers or take a low hunger race.

Don't know about changed potato difficulties. I always found it easy enough getting into cities but impossible to actually do anything within.

My plan was to start as hive worker for the extra challenge (and acid resist and low hunger). Then crawl straight west to the nearest armouries. There are 3 in the Black Desert, only one had guards back when I made this. Get lucky with loot and you could be full robo ninja in under an hour... Problem is that you need (as I recall) two legs, an arm and a weapon to bust down the door for the last armoury.

I made this ages ago. Some things got easier and some harder. Have not rebalanced so good luck!

Any hints to get limbs. Tried stealing from Black City and Hub Waystation, but fail without save scumming. Also i don't get attacked when caught stealing as potato ... assuming this is a bug and not abusing. How do people enter hostile cities without being shot in the face?

Are you on the experimental branch? Right click the game in your Steam library > Properties > Betas > Latest

@Terminarch I do have other mods installed but i disabled them, would that still affect this mod? My character spawns with his limbs at -100 but they eventually heal and work again. Thank you for your time sir

I'm joking....even cheating in 6mil cats you still need somebody to actually spend them at, but everybody hates you so, good luck finding that 1 merchant who still likes you.
Also sticking to the other rules, like no stealing, still makes it extremely hard...waiting for the strem though, i so wanna see how you solve these issues:-)

Its fine until you import or they fix it so you could always keep a version of the game specifically for it

RIP negative currency. Enjoy it while it lasts although its probably not going to be patched for 100 years anyway

yeah, at least a bit of a show off of the mod, to show people that is doable...

Also, your channel is the only one of its kind, as far as I know the only one with technical data and exploration of game mechanics ( I am deeply interested in game mechanics), I tried to give you a shout out on the forum but Hatsune told me the Youtuber himself should do it, so I erased the post.
I know it is a bit weird to self promote, but many people would benefit from your videos, I surely did and I so wish i found out about you before, when I was a total noob:-)

That's a good idea, I should throw together a teaser. A proper playthrough/highlight vid will not happen for some time, however. Preparing beginner tools and expert calculations have priority at the moment.

That moment when you're really glad to have stolen some prototype grade economy limbs from the hivers.

Roleplaying this start as a dethroned United Cities Emperor trying to rise back to power. Spent like an hour and a half as a potato traveling around because I forgot where the hive village in the desert was.

Yeah, I stole myself some limbs from Heng, but it would be way too hardcore for me if I couldnt do that, lol. The swamp seems to be a good place to hang out after you do that.

This is possible without stealing as you can loot while potato. Wait for Skimmers or other animals to die from patrols, eat the meat, sell the rest. Pilfer HN vs UC fights for hundreds of cats per sword. Easy to avoid combat with max stealth in the wilderness but getting to a (friendly) merchant will be tough.
Hint: Minor factions remain neutral.

Maybe you should lower the debt to say 10 million, so its actually possible to repay and maybe continue playing with this start. Also is this challange even possible without stealing? There is no other way to at least get your limbs back, unless you somehow manage to repay your debt as a potato :d

You'll need to get your limbs back before doing anything even remotely effective. Then it's a normal no-shop no-allies run as you work up the stats to finish the challenge.
Getting your legs is the hardest part. Start with that.

You can move very slowly but with a stealth bonus. This is your only advantage, use it!

I honestly just don't see the character moving, let alone kill tengu.

WTF thats totaly usefull. if you like a stick up his ass, and use him as punching bag.
