this mod works perfectly with the most recent version and is good for giving the earth an advantage over other empires, 2 extra planets. not sure how powerful 2 more planets can be long term but anyway the earth system is a prize for lore reasons and also for 3 planets so its a great mod.

All of those star systems are nearby, that's a base game and real life thing.

Alpha centauri and proxima are the closest stars to us.

The nearby systems aren't the actual systems near Sol... Alpha Centauri, Sirius, Procyon, Barnard's Star... none of them are nearby

Please, update this mod for the 2.7.+.

Could you make this into an origin that gives Sol players Venus and Mars at the start and name it "Cautious Pioneers" or something? Representing the species' obsession with space so much that they made the effort to heavily prepare their solar system first before going out into the galaxy? This would also give all kinds of empires access to the starting condition that this mod adds for role play purposes and immersion.

could we see luna and ganymede terraformed too?

Ok I think the fix to the problem is make Titan a barren cold world.

Titan doesn't seem to be terraformable, no matter the tech. And I tried using just this mod. I think it has something to do with the game files not recognizing planets outside the belt in Sol. I tried using a cheat to have Mercury be terraform candidate and it seems to work. Maybe you should swap Mercury for Titan as a candidate. Love the mod otherwise.

It's also just one of two polar ice textures in the game. I can remove them and you can have a really ugly texture artifact at the poles instead of you like.

@nep nep The existence of polar ice caps just depends on the temperature at the poles. They are many atmospheric structures, dynamics, and compositions that still allow for human habitation whilst also resulting in freezing temperatures at the poles, despite Venus' increased proximity to the sun.

Venus wouldn't have ice caps since it is so close to the sun. And mars's ice caps would be much larger than Earth's.

When you update I found that the systems around sol, Alpha Centauri and Sirius eta dont spawn.
@xxGODLIKExx Wut? Luna has no Atmosphere, has so little gravity you can throw a hammer off of the body, and has no way you can build a colony without Hab Blocs with slef contained air and food. Venus would be far easier compared to a body like that.

Any chance to add Luna as well? I don't think it would be harder to terraform than Venus.

Hi there. I have a idea, wat if do version with not start terraformed, but with 2 special progect for anyone, just need technology - "terraforming" and u can do it for likely price for others planets? Wat u do about? Think it would awsome and much balance.

I think Earth should be same 20 tiles like Venus, because land area after terraforming on Venus should approximately coincide with the Earth's.

Did you choose the custom system initialiser or did you play with the base game Sol system?

venus and earth is equal in size, so it does make a little sense when trying to role play
