You need the Fort Kent Route, Portland Terminal Route, and the SW 1500 Switcher Pack to play this scenaio.
joco2370 25 Apr, 2015 @ 8:30am
Do have to purchase a certain rout to acquire the nessacary wagons.
winston  [author] 12 Mar, 2015 @ 8:42pm

Thanks. I'm in the process of during another for Fort Kent. All the snow has inspired me, lol.

Glad you are playing my scenarios and enjoying them. I'll have a new set published soon for the Pietermaritzburg - Ladysmith route in South Africa if you have it.

Very nice scenario, - thanks !
best regards

I'm hoping to see more Canadian route too.

I'm going to snag this, as I want to get every bit of Canadian content I can get my hands on. Ideally, I'd love something that has Rogers Pass, and pretty much anything that deals with the Rocky Mountain rails in, around, through, and away from (in any direction) any of the lines that run along the icefields parkway and anywhere near there would be phenomenal in my opinion. As long as it's Canadian content, i'll be snagging it up anytime!

Thanks for the great comments and idea. I may do some senarios for the route in the future. Fort Kent is one of my favorite routes.
Thee's lots tutorials for learning how to make a scenario. It seems hard at first but if you jump inthings get easier.

That was very good. I did get a surprise when Dispatch told me I had to reset the points for the 'Main' at Deuce Timber siding. I was going to leave it for the chap that was standing there. Guess He was not certified. lol.

a Good Scenario Winston.

I'm glad most people are enjoying the senario. Thanks for playing and commenting.

I think I am like you Winston, I always feel rushed on some scenarios. I like to take my time and I ignore the score as I am always late by a few minutes to each waypoint. I rarely run at max speed limit as I enjoy the scenery and taking some nice screenies.

I love this scenario! So little to do with the Fort Kent once you complete the standard scenarios. Had to purchase the Switcher, but really enjoyed myself tonight. I look forward to trying some of your other Workshop offerings!
winston  [author] 30 Mar, 2013 @ 5:51pm
Glad you are all having fun with it. It's hard to get the AI trains and messages timed because everyone drives different. My preference is a lot slower and relaxed but I make most of my senarios to a faster pace because I think that's how most people drive. If it didn't take so long I'd make alternate versions to try and suit everyone.

Another good one Winston, keep them coming,
Regards, Keith.

Just finished running this scenario, and I've got to say you've done an excellent job with both of these Fort Kent scenarios. Its one of the first routes I bought for Railworks and has been a favorite, so its fun to come back to it with new activities. I did run into an issue where I got a message about a train pulling out of the Fort Kent yard, but I was still at Deuce Lumber dropping off cars. I guess I was a little too slow getting down and back again.

Keep up the good work! :)

Thanks for the ideas. I'm working on a couple of senarios for NEC with the Penn 44 but I think it's a great idea to try one on the Fort Kent route. I'll keep all your suggestions in mind and see what I can come up with.
sylgold 19 Mar, 2013 @ 3:49pm
A nice snenario for this route. Thank you very much.
cor726 19 Mar, 2013 @ 7:48am
Great scenario. I love Fort Kent as well but being small it doesn't take long before you run out of options. So thoughts I have had of things I would like to see.
-B&M or Penn 44 tonne doing some switching at the mills
-Some big power on a diversion (SD70, SD75)
-F40PH - Can't load passengers but I think it would look great on the line
-Steam - perhaps a 2 part with the k4 (switching then a run to Eagle), or the IHH Consolidation - which I love but I don't know how much use it would get as you cannot buy it anymore. I would love to run some steam on Fort Kent.

I don't know if any of those sound interesting to you.
winston  [author] 16 Mar, 2013 @ 6:51am
I'm glad you enjoyed the senario. Fort Kent is one of my favorite routes but I'm running out of ideas for it. If anyone has an idea for a senario let me know and I'll try to do it.

Nicely done. The first time I ran it I derailed when uncoupling the logs at Log Drop. Forgot to give it a little forward motion before uncoupling. Second time much better. I really like the Ft Kent to Eagle Lake route. Good switching run.
Thanks,
Marc
